Well I mean, in the context of science and the universe "cold" doesn't really exist. It's just the absence of heat and since entropy is inevitable, there's either a universe with energy and one or nothing at all, without any energy, the latter being the eventual end state. So Stasis isn't cold, it's just heat sapped crystallized energy that...shouldn't even be possible but hey...Space magic, right?

Then when describing stasis why do they use words like “Freeze” and “Icy Razors”. It’s literally just ice the subclass. That’s as complicated as it gets brotha. It’s just frozen energy.

Stasis is described as a cosmic energy foptprint that follows a shape language and when it appears, it "flash freezes" in a solidified form. We currently don't know why this happens with the energy but Ice itself is not energy. I don't know how else to explain this to you. When Stasis spikes or appears, it takes on a definite shape, encasing anything near the footprint in...Stasis. You can call it ice if you want, but...its not ice.

Freezing would be one way to put it metaphorically, but we are putting anything around it in Stasis. I think the energy itself manifests from some kind of "cosmic foot print" it says, then the energy materializes and for some reason solidifies, putting anything it solidifies in stasis, which is cold because the energy is not in motion as its molecules stop. Sorry to be annoyingly pedantic again.
