Thorn is a PVP gun. If you don’t like PVP then why even care if you have the gun? If you want it that bad, then just get over the fact that it will take a while in crucible. Death doesn’t set you back.

The last word which people also claimed was a PvP gun isn’t being used in PVP (check the stats) so it’s either in vaults or played in PVE. If the gun isn’t locked to crucible it’s not a PVP gun.

last word is garbage in pve and always has been, if your not planning on using it for pvp theres literally no point in you owning it
last word is garbage in pve and always has been, if your not planning on using it for pvp theres literally no point in you owning it
Barely anyone uses it in PVP so I guess there was no point in earning it except for 6% of players.

Doesnt make it not viable there
-
It’s just as viable in PVE bungie designs guns to function in both sandboxes the same.

its not thoug seeing as pvp and pve favor very different perks, a 8 mag rapid fire hand cannon is good for pvp. a 12 round outlaw and rampage hand cannons is good for pve
its not thoug seeing as pvp and pve favor very different perks, a 8 mag rapid fire hand cannon is good for pvp. a 12 round outlaw and rampage hand cannons is good for pve
Yeah but speaking of perks do those guns have perks that only work in PVP? There is a precedent of gear that has PVE only perks (raid weapons, raid armor) those you could say are PVE designs. Everything else is designed to function the same in both sandboxes. “PVP gun” is just a construct that people use to justify insulting people who give quest feedback that you don’t agree with. It’s wrong.

They may have the same perks in both pve and pvp but that doesnt make them effective, ive never seen anyone using last word in pve, why would they? Constant reloading and even getting hip fire shots it reloads slower then feeding frenzy, rapid hit or outlaw, no damage boosts, no decent mag size, takes up the exotic, etc Theres no point in owning last word if itll sit at the vault since you dont pvp and wont use it in pve is there? Its a pvp gun because thats where it ends up being used, just like whisper is a pve gun

Bungie designs weapons to perform the same in PVP/PVE they have said so over and over and over. If you read more of the thread you would see me cover it over and over. I also cover that people do use it PVE and don’t really use it much in PVP most people have it vaulted. If you are a warlock running luna faction boots you become a turret of add clear destruction with TLW. Even without them you can be a space cowboy for fun. “PVP gun” is a fake construct that people use to justify being condescending to people who they disagree with about quest steps. It’s not a real thing.
