Thanks bungie. I give up. I cant keep playing if youre gonna lock all the fun hand cannons behind pvp walls. F**k your game, dude.

1 ReplyYour last game of pvp was an hour ago. Clearly you didn’t give up.
-
There literally does not need to be PvP til the end of the quest, literally one step out of 5 or 6 required any PvP
-
3 RepliesYo so I disliked crucible for some time and I went back for the Thorn. Now I want to grind out the other pinnacle weapons, no matter how hard they are. It’s just a matter of patience...and time
-
23 RepliesYou can all suck my ass, i shouldnyt be forced to play PvP for vertainb weapons. I paid for this shitty -blam!-ing game and i cant even get half the good shit because its all for you pvp losers.
-
Cool story bro. There are around 20 other exotics and around 100 other legendary guns feom different gun types which can be fun. Stop limiting yourself.
-
I feel you on that. Working Thorn and luna at the same time. It's hell.
-
Sorry duck boy
-
Someone didn’t get tucked in very well last night.

2 RepliesAw. Some one is a little bit cranky. Tell you what, Junior, I will help you out with a quick tip. Here it is: Let that testicle drop and get good. I am not the biggest fan of D2's PvP, but here I am at a meager 2%. Not much, I know, but I am gonna nut up and get back to it. It ain't going to be easy. I am gonna die....a lot. Thing is? I do not care. I want Thorn. I will have Thorn. If it gets frustrating? I will simply stop, walk away, come back to it later. Grab your binky, pull your diaper up, and get in there.
-
1 ReplyPeople like you are the reason the thorn is in the salt mines
-
1 ReplyCorrect me if I’m wrong, bu being less than 10% through the quest means you haven’t reached a mandatory PvP section yet. Dumbass.
-
1 ReplySome advice from someone who isnt very good at pvp. Just do it if you want the weapon. I got mine. I dont get all upset and call people losers. I love Destiny and the Destiny universe. The Crucible based on the lore which you should read is a very integral part of Destiny and is used by gaurdians to practice. They practice with each other die and come back. So the Crucible will never go away seeing as its essentially how gaurdians keep themselves ready for the real threat. I do every exotic quest always have regardless of my thoughts on pvp. Why? Because I like having every exotic available because i like the lore for one and i like my collection book being complete. Your opinion is fine but dont call people losers because you want something and it's hard. Think that's hard wait til you do the strike.

13 RepliesPvp sucks so much so that to keep forcing us to go back just so the little tiny crybabies who like it have something to do. PVP ruined the balance destiny one and it ruins the balance in destiny 2 has never ever been anything but a side activity and yet for some reason destiny keeps trying to push it on us with these exotic quest.
-
1 ReplySuck it up, princess. Why is everyone online such a goddamn pansy now? “Oh, no! I have to fight other players instead of adds! So scary!” There are much, much, much bigger problems with this game than being “forced” to play PvP.

1 ReplyEdited by weaponswall: 3/13/2019 5:05:00 PMHey, lemme let you in on a few little secrets...
Thorn is tied to the crucible via the lore, just like Last Word is. So, it’s a crucible weapon.

You don’t have to play crucible, you just won’t get the crucible weapons like Thorn and The Last Word.

The quests aren’t that hard (crucible portion) to complete. I know, because I was able to complete them.

There’s a reason the Thorn Quest starts near the SALT Mines, because people like you are always so SALTY
-
Dude, they even removed the point loss from D1 quest. Get a void HC like Ikelos, jump to competitive, and get 1% per kill. Takes time ans sucks, but it's not that hard. Go for it, mate!
-
Gotta love that way of the wraith spam :(
-
9 RepliesThorn is a PVP gun. If you don’t like PVP then why even care if you have the gun? If you want it that bad, then just get over the fact that it will take a while in crucible. Death doesn’t set you back.
-
I’m sure you’ve been told by now but the first 3 steps have alternative sources from PVE activities before you get to the forced PVP step.
-
Think you're confused between the drifter/vanguard quest and the thorn one? Drifter quest step 2 = 25 kills in crucible (may get you stuck 10% in if you're no good). Thorn quest (as below) 99% pve. Pvp bit is at the end. I'm shit at pvp but i'll still get it. Just have fun whilst you can, when it gets frustrating stop and play something else for a while rather than burn yourself out and come here complaining for you're dose of salt 🤔
-
wow.. 14-15 games in two days and you are sick of it.. honestly, I really wish players like you would find another game. This clearly is not how you want to spend your time so find something else that will appease you.
-
3 RepliesBungie can never satisfy you people, if you hate pvp so damn much, why are you trying to obtain a pvp exotic? There is also zero penalties, so no one is at fault but you.
-
4 RepliesBut there’s no penalties for dying... bungie never wins 😂👋
-
12 Repliesthis is a bad complaint. there isn't a loss penalty, so the quest steps are longer. People complained about loss penalties so they got rid of them but made it a bigger grind to compensate. you can't have it both ways. if you are that bad at pvp you need to get tactically proficient and work on getting your kills. if you're bad with hand cannons then just go for void kills. if you die a lot, then play more meta. but you cant complain about a weapon having a pvp component that requires nothing but time commitment.
-
They get rid of the penalty and you kids still complain. Also, what’s the rush to get the gun in the first hour? Your own mentality is making the game less enjoyable since you feel that you need to finish everything day one.
