Your best bet would be to find someone with the final boss checkpoint, kill the final boss and start the dungeon over again.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, my friend and I won't have the time to do the entire thing over again before the curse cycle restarts. This issue (regarding the Taken Captain boss disappearing) seems like a definite glitch.

That's unfortunate....its definitely not a glitch though I've helped many of my clanmates get the wishender and only had that problem once when we didn't kill the captain fast enough. No need to copy paste replies like a bot 😂 Best of luck though.

It's not really a glitch you just have to kinda kill him fast or he and his gang will disappear. Gotta be quicker bro. And yeah basically you gotta start over and do that orb again since you already tried on that checkpoint

Oh... Thanks for the info! I wish having to kill him quick would have been made clear in the actual game. We killed all his minions at the point when he went poof. We were damaging him as well. Oh, how I love exotic quests...
