Why is a weapon with the lowest zoom in the game, have the worst kick up when your getting shot?
Anyone else notice this with handcannons???

Watch videos of people shooting .50 cal or so handguns. A hand cannon is literally that, a pistol with a massive caliber round (thus the cannon in the name). Giant round + short barrel + no stock = massive recoil.
-
So you're saying this game is based off of real life? Where can I find a space ship that travels at the speed of light. Or get a ghost that can revive me if I miss my roof to roof jumps?
-
*near light speed

I'm not claiming Destiny 2 is entirely realistic, but the weapons behave pretty much like you'd expect IRL ones used by trained warriors to feel, if they didn't the gunplay would be really strange. Even in sci-fi games with super advanced tech, guns will still have recoil because of how guns work.

-
What do you mean by flinch? I find hand cannons pretty easy to use, especially Sunshot and Midnight coup, which have great handling/perks. And hitting rapid crits in PvE is easy with the Midnight Coup especially, since the recoil is predicable and slightly to the side so you can still see the target.

You sir are a troll whose first language isn't English

Welp, sadly that's not true. I can only speak/write English, I tried to learn Spanish a couple times but suck at foreign languages (same applies to any coding languages, I could never get my head around those). Also, how am I trolling?
-
Whe you get shot by a player. Flinch in pve isnt noticable l
-
Ah, you mean you flinch after being shot? That'd be from the massive impact most hand cannons have, though I'd expect some sniper rifles to have more punch.
-
When your are the one ADS'ed with the handcannon and someone shoots you. You flinch enough for your HC to touch the top of your screen. Kinda like how sniper rifles where before the last weapon update. I'm not speaking of getting shot by one. The flinch I'm talking about is what happens to me when I get shot while holding a HC.
-
Ah. IDK about that then, I haven't noticed any massive flinching when taking hits. Are you mostly in PvP?
Ah. IDK about that then, I haven't noticed any massive flinching when taking hits. Are you mostly in PvP?
Mainly pve, hand cannon operates fine there but when when I'm in crucible. I notice my recoil mixed with the flinch from being shot makes a very high screen kick. Like I'm using the year 1 NLB.
