Dirty secret if the scoring is the same as the beta - which it appears to be: D2 uses the K+A/D metric, meaning that your score is a compilation of kills AND assists, a nod to the team-oriented nature of the game. That's not even close to the same as K/D in D1 where kills and assists were assessed separately.
