Lightning nades need a change because of the current state of the tripmine grenade, also trip mines were the only true "sticky nades" no aim-bot shit just throw and if the knob head stood in it's flight path and got stuck then that was fair GG no re le-mayo, but as for Lightnings how come they are tripmines on drugs?? How come the trip mine explodes once and isn't a kill and its gone yet a Lightning can stick around and wipe a whole team doing the around the same DMG per explosion as the tripmine?? F*cks with that shit?? Quite frankly... [spoiler]What a boatload of ass[/spoiler]

  • To be honest, this is a terrible argument... First off, Lightning and Tripmines have similar characteristics in that they are supposed to be environmental hazards. But that's where it ends. Tripmines are meant to be quiet, hard to see. They are meant to leave your target crippled for easy pickings or finish them off when they're trying to escape. Never were they meant to be used as a standard grenade. Lightning grenades are loud and obnoxious that are meant to keep the enemy away. They actually do the same amount of damage as a tripmine. They require more than one pulse to kill if the target(s) are at full health and they have a gap in between each said pulse that allows escape if your enemy is smart enough. It's rare for one grenade to kill multiple people. However the same could be said with Tripmines. I've seen people pull off multi kills! Lastly, the fact that you are comparing two completely different classes to complain about one small aspect tells me that you do not look at what makes them different, but rather, what others classes have that you don't have.

And furthermore a stick should equal a kill... If they don't change Trip mines then something needs to change with the Lightning... And tbh that thing about what classes don't have, Empyrean Bellicose and Twilight Garrison so that entire paragraph was rendered invalid... :) Edit: Rationalisation added
