You amaze me with any post, and clearly you have not thoroughly researched anything Microsoft has been putting out in terms of content at amazing value. I'll carefully explain to you how this backwards compatibility system works, since you seem to not understand. The number of titles that are being carried over to Xbox One from 360 is limitless, the only barrier keeping them from transferring all games over at the moment is the digital rights management issue, they must have the permission from the original game's manufacturer to allow the content to be used on the next gen console. Why? Because when you play Xbox 360 games on Xbox One, you DO NOT have to re-purchase the game. If you had it downloaded on 360, you can download it again free or if you had a physical copy use that. It's not a rehash of previous systems that appeared similar. You are entirely able to access the original 360 dashboard seamlessly on your Xbox One, and play with players on 360 and vice versa with all your DLC and saved profiles available to you. Obviously graphics do not get upgraded, it's the exact same game. What are you missing? You're missing the option to pop in the disc, you have to rebuy your damn games. You PAY for a GAMING SERVICE ONLY. We pay a subscription for a full multimedia platform. Did I mention we're getting PC support too? Keyboard, mouse, streaming to computers and the ability to actually play with users on PC as well. Where is PSN when all this innovative stuff happens to use FREE? Just stop.
