Never had a problem with my PS4 controllers, so I have no idea what you're talking about. I've had the PS4 and the same three controllers since release and nothing has broken, even with repeated throws to the wall. But the first time I used an Xbox One controller, oh boy. My friend was swearing at me for an hour straight.
