I think Warlocks are the weakest class in pvp- just an opinion and based on a simpleton ' s reason. I tend to complete the bounty on Warlock kills faster than on the other classes.

  • Have you ever gone up 6v6 in the banner against an all warlock team. We all spent more time trying to escape the giant purple balls hurling towards us from all direction then actually fighting...that match only lasted around 7 minutes...I still cry myself to sleep at night.

  • Yeah, that's a great point, but if you are talking all of one class then what about 6 golden guns that can do the same from farther away. Or titans chaining supers. I have never seen 6 warlocks and that is highly uncommon so therefore also moot.

  • I have gone up against a group comprised of 5 titans and a warlock...alot of bubble everywhere...

Considering they can lob it over walls that players can't jump over (meaning you can't Fist of Havoc over it,) I would say they definitely have an advantage. Everyone argues the skill cap requirement, but in my opinion it's not fair to hold skill cap in support of an ability's overpowered nature: it's like suggesting everyone won't eventually get a good hang of how the ability works after they try it out a hundred times over. Eventually they're going to figure it out, and then it's going to feel overpowered. But we pretend it's okay because 'they took time to hone the skill?' But then why are Titans forced to use abilities without a skill cap to disadvantage the potential power we could tap into, if only we had skill cap abilities as well? Instead we get very chancy abilities that seem to become increasingly weaker or at least less viable as the months go by and everyone but us get neat buffs.

  • Exactly. Discharge should be guaranteed, melee range needs to be increased, Catapult should be faster, exotics should be generally useful and not total garbage, flashbangs should have a somewhat bigger radius. Just a bunch of tweaking needs to be done.

  • I thought of this too and it could be true, but that doesn't make the class necessarily more powerful.

  • That's because there are more Warlucks, because most people have caught on to the trend. At least, that's my take on the matter.

  • Is there a stat showing more warlocks, because it does not not feel to me like an over abundance if them versus the other classes. Hey, we have choices. Warlock is my second/ the one I am developing. I admit I don't know all first hand, but if if abundant, I do not believe it's far out of proportion of hunters.
