pvp is ruin by [redacted] and [redacted] users playing on mouse and keyboard on the console. I hope bungie will find a way to separate these guys from legit players.

It's funny thise users will admit to it via messages or other things and there's nothing anyone can do about it, sucks knowing you only lost because someone else had external machine assistance

Edited by Maybe30Ducks: 5/5/2022 3:10:06 PMDidn’t a recent patch from Sony kill those items on PlayStation? I feel like it’s not MnK killing pvp. It’s because the skill level for destiny is pretty high since the meta has been pretty much the same forever with just a switch from what special weapon you wanna use with HC. If you are using a hand canon only for the past 3-4 years, then it’s pretty safe to assume you are gonna crush it.

I agree with this. Ironic you’re even allowed to mention the name of the device. Last time I did it I got a warning for promoting cheating haha. Idiots

Edited by Golden_Apple: 5/5/2022 2:45:15 AMWell Bungie apparently considers Cronus an accessibility tool based on a conversation with CheeseForever and a Bungie associate on Twitter about a month ago. They're fully aware of it and won't ban you for it; they don't want to "intrude" on how someone should play the game, even at the expense of console lobbies getting smashed.
-
Then why did I get banned for mentioning the device
-
No idea. You must've been pretty vocal about it lol. From what I now know, so long as you aren't using Aimbot, wallhacks, network manipulation, rpm multipliers or anything game breaking then you're good to go from Bungie's view. Insanity at its finest.
-
I literally said the word, nothing else.
-
Well they're pretty quiet about the whole topic so I guess Ninja's we're given Order 66. Guess it's only a matter of time till my post gets wiped. They would rather you not talk about it or use, but they won't axe you your account if you were to do so.

Edited by Olórin: 5/5/2022 10:31:11 AMBungie may consider it fine but im pretty sure these devices violate Microsoft and Sony's ToS, its an issue that doesn't just pop up in Destiny but a few other shooters too.
-
It doesn’t, both Sony and Microsoft used to have their own versions licences out to Hori.

Edited by Olórin: 5/6/2022 7:15:01 AMHmm well in that case its all legit, pretty scummy to try and avoid other MnK players but thats just how some players are i guess. If they approve MnK then they should support it and have a separate pool for MnK input and another for Controller input, pretty much how Halo Infinite has done it.

Wait…seriously???? That’s..insane

I can't play on console most of the time now. Some people can't afford a gaming PC, so native support is what I was talking about and in more of a generalized industry way.
Which in the end, it's being considered a "grey" area, seeing as there's no violation of ToS.

That’s crazy thanks for providing a link!
