if Bungie did that they would only have a handful of players in comp.
Bungie needs the quitters/cheaters/paid carries to keep the numbers up so it looks like the game is popular.

This game is the top free game on Xbox, and Steam as well I believe (or best selling game, don’t remember which one). But sure claim this game has a low population -
For what the last 24 days??? Two months ago what was the most popular xbox or steam game?? Free 2 Play only became available recently - no wonder it is popular, it's "new"

Once again, Steam, it is currently the top 2 best seller (deluxe and normal). And please, show me your evidence that definitively says this is a dead game. You made the claim, now prove it. -

Once again, you have ignored my question I’ve asked repeatedly. How is the game unpopular right now? And if there is only an illusion of popularity, meaning it’s not actually popular, then if quitters leave the game would essentially die since you think they are the cause of this illusion. -

It is not irrelevant. I want to know how you think the game is actually unpopular, but wears a fake mask of popularity. You clearly didn't read the question I had asked. You claim the games merely seems popular because of the population of the quitters, etc. yet I disagree. I think the game is more than popular with or without the quitters in crucible (and it would only get more popular if there were no more quitters). And by making that claim, you suggest that the game is rather unpopular, but only seems popular. And if it is ACTUALLY unpopular right now (but seems popular, but isnt actually popular) that means if you were to remove the population of the quitters (the population that is making the game seem popular according to you) then it would 100% become a dead game as it would lose the major population that is making an unpopular game seem popular. My question and the answer to it are absolutely relevant to the conversation. Not you asking what was the top free game on xbox 2 months ago, because we are talking about right now. Right now, Destiny 2 is absolutely a very healthy population and is very popular with or without the quitter population. -

I'm seeing more and more videos of the more extreme cheats. Anywhere from speed hacks, aimbot, walls, and simple DDOSes (although quite a few pc players use vpns so that doesnt matter as much) The game is free as well so that just increases the number of cheaters too.

Yea I’ve definitely seen more videos and when it goes F2P on steam that’d make sense
