Your damage output is still capped when you exceed enemy level by more than 2 levels. So no it won't be EASY for some, while yeah its super easy now for some. Just look at nowadays with light level 34, go grab some LFG randoms and run Vault of Glass Hard Mode. There are people EVEN AT LVL 34 that die during confluxes, and die over and over and over. There are people who are clueless. Its an "easy" raid for the right team....but then again it was an EASY raid for us when we were level 32 before you were likely even playing. Before House of Wolves it was considered "EASY" when you ran a full team of level 32 guardians, but that doesn't mean tons of times I didn't encounter $hitty destiny players from LFG who had no clue and thus made the raid unable to be progressed even past confluxes.
Who cares anyways, if the weapons are going to be pointless, why would anybody run it? So you can get a damage 300 max weapon, which then needs to used to get experience to rank up to 300, then you need to use an etheric light to get it to 365....except now there are 400 damage weapons it can't compete with. Why waste all that time upgrading, doing bounties, and buffing a weapon, then buffing weapon again with etheric when it'll be an extinct useless weapon anyways.

That's not true. Weapon atk is capped based on level, but atk cap is roughly 15*enemy level. So in VoG hard that roughly 450 for the atk cap. Try it at see: a 300 VoC does the same damage to level 20 enemies as a 331 Fang (same impact, both scouts) and the same damage as a 365 VoC - all about 890. so at level 20 the max atk is 300. Now vs level 22 enemies. The 300 VoC still does the same damage (around 890), but the 331Fang now does about 1019. 365 VoC still capped at 1019. Conclusion: 331 atk cap for level 22. Now vs level 24 enemies. 300 VoC: 890, 331 Fang: 1019, 365 Voc 1128. Ah! So the cap for level 24 is 365 atk. And that's where it stays. 26-34 is still 1128 for the 365 VoC. Presumably when TTK comes out and we get 430 or whatever atk weapon it will scale similarly.
