Your character is a god-murdering zombie that got brought to life by an unspeaking sky-lightbulb to fight oversized bugs, rhino-turtles, and time-travel robots so that you can kill things mindlessly for an organization of light-zombie soldiers with unreasonable powers the lightbulb and evil pyramids gave you.
(Zavala ordered you to give yourself to Darkness, and you followed for F-sake in the previous expansion if you finished the last mission.)
This is a game, just a silly sci-fi game, if you can't separate that from real life then maybe reconsider your life or find a different game to play.

I get your point, but just to clarify—I actually didn’t finish the last mission in the previous expansion for exactly that reason. When the game required me to “give myself to Darkness,” I stopped there. My concern is real, not trolling, and it’s simply about wanting the game to be more comfortable for players like me.
