There's nothing to read if you keep ignoring reality and present anecdotal evidence as proof. This forum is an echo chamber for a disgruntled minority and some trolls. And you have just become one of them. Congratulations!
The numbers are fine and follow just the normal pattern. This is an old game so we can't expect a massive influx. Still, we're getting enough new players. There's nothing wrong with the game. It's profitable for the dev, we get a solid player base. I like it, so I keep playing it and there are hundreds of thousands of others, no matter how much you stomp your feet.

What didn't age well? Do yourself a favour and check the player count. Is it that much off what we had last year in November? No.

Edited by Synge_X: 11/3/2023 6:06:12 PMI took your advice and did a little reading… https://www.vgchartz.com/article/458884/report-bungie-laid-off-8-of-staff-as-revenue-missed-projections-by-45/ Destiny revenue down 45%… it doesn’t matter if millions of Free to play accounts long in and play if Bungie isn’t meeting budget projections. Oh wait… player population is down as well. “According to SteamCharts, Destiny 2 saw an average daily player count of 42,140 over the last 30 days which marks a steep 29% decline from the 58,963 recorded in September 2023. Destiny 2's peak player count for October 2023 was just 68,148, the lowest recorded since November 2022” https://www.dexerto.com/destiny/destiny-2-player-count-2354190/#
