Could Bungie just acknowledge warlocks, just one time?
I am just so tired that Warlocks have the exact same build on all three light subclasses now. (hint the build is, use x exotic, and then you get to use grenades/melee/well, faster then other classes can sometimes)
Let us have DPS supers like the other two classes do, let us have abilities we can build on that make them do dumb damage, or that let us use them literally back to back, not almost but not quite kinda back to back sorta if use dedicate every slot to some mods and if nobody accidentally kills one more enemy then you thought they would.
Or.... just say you only ever want warlocks to use Well and if we ask for anything else the answer is no, because that is how half the community acts toward warlocks anyway. We have well don't complain, we can use grenades or pitiful melees faster then everyone else so don't complain, warlocks are meant for add clear only so don't complain.
Its just tiring.

2 RepliesThe thing is. Titans and warlocks can use a high damage super on a long cooldown with builds. Warlocks can use average damage supers on a short cooldown with builds...doing more super damage overall.

27 RepliesGo watch YouTube for build advice You’re struggling because you’re not taking advantage of any of the synergies built into the subclass. So you are only using a fraction of the power available to an arc Warlock. Look at what my Warlock is running.

Try playing raids with only titans or hunters for that raid seal. Only warlocks can spam abilities so much, profits about AE or their unique abilities (child, arc buddy, turret, quick ability regeneration). You still don‘t need to build that much in your abilites, because most of your exotics do this part. And that isn‘t enough? Oh boy. Let titans and hunters have some fun too

I partially agree. It's true that most builds tend to lean into heavy ability usage, but I'm sure there's other types of builds that do stuff. I'm personally a big fan of playing a bit strategically and always having abilities to unleash at swathes of enemies, so Warlock is my favorite, but I do wish there were more options to build into their supers. Despite being the most "mage" class, the efficiency of their supers are often not influenced too much from build aside from "I get to do it more often."

3 RepliesWarlocks are supposed to spam abilities that do pretty nifty things. You don't see other classes with arc souls or void children. You guys have two enhanced grenade aspects. Every other class gets one. You have the best dodge in the game the best super for pve. Your arc is insane with all the damn jolt, yah get double chain lightning. If only warlocks spent more time trying to make their class work for them instead of complaining.

6 RepliesThe problem is that well is mandatory for almost every damage phase in just about anything. Have you ever done a raid without a warlock with well. It’s awful. The others are replaceable. Titans and hunters are replaceable. But a well lock is mandatory. I mean it’s the way the game works. Besides weapons do more damage anyways. Stop being great for dps in a raid. It’s a team event not who has the biggest d.

Hear me out. There are 3 classes in destiny 2. If you don’t like how one class plays, just switch to a different one.

It’s freaking ridiculous. Destiny is a game about space magic and the one class about space magic gets the least love. I sure hope the rogue class Hunters are having a good time in a Space Magic game. (Sarcasms)

The well thing is a bummer. Some of the most fun I've had is doing the all arc, stasis, void etc raid triumphs. They're completely doable that way. Not the switch at the last moment way, but legit runs.
