Can we get a section for people that don’t know what to do bungie? Just a part of the lfg where people can link with other people whom don’t have the opportunity the play certain parts of your game because they don’t know what to do?

That’s literally why you can make your own post. Easy fix.

Whoa, some of y’all are really butt hurt over a suggestion!!! Yeah I can make a post and find help sure! That’s not what I was suggesting, Then it’s not a garuntee that you’ll get help even posting in the forum! I was saying people who have never done a raid or dungeon but would like to learn how to do a raid or a dungeon could have a section on this damn website. With other people who also haven’t been able to participate because they don’t know what to do, and that way everyone can enjoy this game equally!! Instead of having to deal with paid Carries and elitists who kick you the first time you make a mistake!!! Oh and another thing -blam!- a YouTube video, the best way to learn mechanics in this game is to play it. I can watch a YouTube video from beginning to end it’s still not going to be the same as actually getting in a raid or dungeon etc and learning the mechanics!!! Thank you you for participating in my TED TALK!!!

2 RepliesSuch wonderful examples of community spirit, teamwork and helping out your fellow guardians! -It's called Guided Games -Sometimes its a pleasure to teach raids but we dont always feel like it -If only you could start your own LFG posts Really?! Yall crack me up, *clears my throat* this is how it sounds "I wouldn't *$%& on you if you were on fire noob!" This isn't about you and your vast level of knowledge when it comes to Destiny and everyone else is but a scrub when it comes you and yours, this is about folks -blam!- want to raid and learn. Watching a Youtube guide pretty much does Jack and S..... Wanna know why? allow me to repeat something that I know every single person has heard, "I watched the YT on this raid but honestly I was so lost, hope that isn't an issue but I think it get it (nope they didn't get it)" and etc. and so on, in a million different ways. There is only one true way of learning a raid or any high level activity, boots on deck...If you have a very close nit of friends or fireteam that you can group with at all times, you are indeed extremely lucky. How about we look past the usual comments and lend a hand? You will always have to teach, and just remember Teamwork makes the Dreamwork!

The section you are looking for is called YouTube. Watch videos then you will KWTD….
-

If I’m in your situation, I’ll usually make an LFG post that says something like, “Duality | First Time | Have Mic Please” (for example) and 9 times out of 10, someone will join who has already completed the activity and willing to teach. Speaking of that, I’ll like to give a shout out to those players! 🤗

When I wanted to raid I just made my own lfg, dungeons I’ve learned to solo but have played with some pretty good players from lfg just make your own post and explain you don’t have a firm grasp at mechanics. I’ve made some pretty good friends.
-
Ya, type DKWTD where others put KWTD. Solved 👍🙋.

Why is having someone have to teach you something any different from watching something and having someone have to teach you something? Take 10 minutes to watch a video instead of complaining that strangers won’t teach you what to do. It’s really just laziness on your part. Or better you get a good clan where your clan mates are willing to teach you what to do.

1 Replyyes it’s called make your own post
-
We already have it, it really is just make your own post and hope someone picks you up. Hell someome did it on the forums here the other day and a random dude and myself got him through prophecy quickly for some quest thing he had.
-
4 RepliesThis would be cool. Maybe a dedicated Sherpa tag on your lfg post. Need to be careful though. Guided games crashed and burned for a reason. Some people lack the ability, skill, and capacity to do some of destiny’s harder activities.
-
KWTD just means "Know What To Do". That means go watch a video on YouTube. It doesn't explicitly say "have 100 clears" or anything.
-
Start your own group of players who don't know what to do. Quit expecting a group or Sherpa to hard carry you.
-
7 RepliesDiscord LFG has a Sherpa section. Try there
-
2 RepliesWhat's with your username dude? 😂
-
If only you could start your own LFG posts...
-
It's called Guided Games. Like everything else in this game, it came out half-baked. And instead of improving it. Bungie just abandoned it.
-
Kwtd basically means : watch a youtube video and learn the strats by yourself. In the end we dont care if you did the raid / the gm etc.. already. As long as we dont have to teach you (Sometimes its a pleasure to teach raids but we dont always feel like it)

2 RepliesEdited by Old Man Pookie: 8/9/2022 8:48:22 AMAll you have to do is post "New To "XXX". Looking For Other New to "XXX". This type of post will get you what you want. If you learn the entire event you are trying to get players for "Will Teach" will also get you what you seek. "Will Teach" is how I got the VoG emblem for carrying new players, and am more than halfway on the VotD carries.
