OP? I think so. 2 shot kill guaranteed.
Edit: Wow the popularity. This is good.
My point remains, Hawkmoon has a CHANCE to 2 shot headshot a player whereas Thorn has it GUARANTEED. Two very different concepts. On top of that, the mag size buff is ridiculous in light of this.

4 RespostasActually 3 shots will cause a kill (shows that you know nothing on the subject) sometimes 4 if there are no head shots. And yes I use this gun on a regular basis.

1 ResponderI personally believe there should be a damage over range nerf for handcannons overall. Reasons being, there are handcannons with very little range TWL and still do massive amounts of damage at range,there like snipers almost. Others then that I'm fine with handcannons.

8 RespostasIf someone is able to land 2 consecutive crit. shots, they deserve the kill. I normally can outgun a Thorn with TLW cuz I can get those 3 crits. rather easily, so it is possible. Instead of whining about it, try adapting to the situation.

GET A LIFE OR JUST DO THE BOUNTY. people with thorn can kill you with thorn or just with their melee or their grenade or fusion or shotgun because they are just better than you in PvP. get along with it.

So are we going to nerf every gun that's better then others? Yes? Cause every one wines when they get killed more then once, I don't play pvp but I'm about to take my thorn and play 24/7 just to piss people off btw nerf rocket launchers I shouldn't die in one hit by an "op" gun...

6 RespostasThe Thorn IS NOT guaranteed to 2 shot headshot anybody. Maybe in Iron Banner if the person is lower leveled then you, but not in the Crucible. I use Hard Light on my Titan, Thorn on my Hunter and I can say without a doubt that Hard Light kills just as fast, if not faster. MOST headshot kills I get with Thorn usually take at least 4 shots. Even if it did only take 2 headshots to kill, which it doesn't, then that would still be perfectly fine because its quite a bit harder to headshot somebody with a handcannon than anything else in the game except for maybe some snipers.

I die all the time in PVP. In the last 200 deaths, maybe 5-10 were from Thorn. Shotguns and fusion rifles are owning PVP, not Thorn. I have the v2.0 Thorn and love it. Don't use it that much in PVP though.

Two headshot kill, yes. Two body shots? Target lives. One each body and headshot? Target lives. Even with two headshots, if you kill us or run way, we're likely to have our kill stolen.

12 RespostasHandcannons require more skill to use most that complain can't aim under pressure so they feel thorns OP. Most people I play in crucibles still use AR's and shotguns. I'm glad to see hand cannon users rewarded.

2 RespostasDestiny changed from an assault rifle game to a hand cannon game... I think i prefer it as an assault rifle game. I prefer rifles and my titan just feels broken when i enter battle with a hand cannon. Currently the scout and assault are perfectly balanced but those damn hand cannons are annoying imo

2 RespostasI've been making antithorn threads everyday. A Men to fixing this. Nerf thorn. It requires no skill and can two shot people just by maming them and letting poison take over. Cruise Control for cool. Pvp is already pretty bullocks with all these fusion rifles.
