"I earned level 30" -_-
After countless hard mode raids only to be rewarded weapons, ships and energy I was ready to quit this game. No thanks to RNGesus, I'll be reaching lv 30 by tomorrow morning. To everyone hating on the IB. Blow me! The sense of self entitlement in this community makes me sick.
Note ** I erased one of my level 29's to increase my chances at 30 with my Titan. Also it's my belief that hard mode is meant for level 30's with an acception of a 29 or two. With that said, beating VOG will be that much easier for me with a 20% boost in damage output.

As the community levels up strikes and raids will be easier to complete. I just don't see what the big deal is. If you have a mic and experience I'll run with you. Simple as that. "Hey don't enjoy the game cause you're doing it wrong!" Know what that sounds like? Bungie patching things because of how we want to play. People are such hypocrites. All claiming they want to play their own way and then telling others that they're doing it wrong. I'm looking forward to when people can just play the game and enjoy it for what it is without complaining. Anyone willing to do that feel free to add me. GT same as here on 360 & X1. I got armour from IB and raids. I didn't feel like i "earned" anything from either. Both are just an exercise in grinding. Lvl 3 IB was easy to reach from scratch with the dumbed down bountys and loss token things. Kudos on the 30 OP.

8 RespostasDoesn't really matter to me. Get to thirty however you can. I got to twenty nine by buying all my gear from the Vanguard and Xur. I've been lucky with the Raid, though. All I need now are the boots. I was thinking about doing the iron banner, but I'm not that good at it.

30 is 30i haven't seen anyone complain about IB getting you to 30 with a valid reason.

In pretty sure I'm earning my rank in IB. I was not blessed the 4 times I did the normal raid and one time I tried the hard raid. Also, let me tell you something oh wise nerd, Gaining my rank in IB has been a lot harder than beating the normal raid. So STFU and go away.

1 ResponderI think most people are out to lunch with how this games advancement is completely manufactured. Coincidence Bungie are handing out level 30 weeks before the expansion? No, they are controlling our advancement in every way, they are trying to keep us grinding until each dlc etc. This game has no hard core players like other games because you can only do so much (3 characters). Playing tiger strikes all day every day or crucible will not get you to level 30, it will only get you exotics which bungie hand to us weekly through xur. All the advancement is controlled with weekly loot drops.

This week I begrudgingly accepted and invitation and finally got gloves. If you do supposedly the hardest thing in the game (it's not), it shouldn't be like playing the lottery. Iron Banner is fair. I put my time, I won my matches, I completed my bounties, and in return, I earned the right to buy gear. That's the way it should be. My chest piece is still in the hands of RNGesus, unfortunately.

Looted from a chest - took the time to look for the chest therefore EARNED 3. Xur - you played nightfall/weekly and EARNED strange coins 4. Mission/Strike - you completed it therefore you EARNED it 5. Exotic bounties - You completed your task and EARNED your reward. HOWEVER RNGesus gave you your bounty.

1 ResponderAccording to your profile, you've beaten the raid a total of 9 times on norm/hard. Even if your "countless" (lol) raids were all hard,(which is impossible) you can't expect the best gear in the game in that amount of time (3 weeks if you have 3 characters). It's not about "earning" or even being a 30 elitist. It's about the challenge and like I said, it's the BEST GEAR IN THE GAME. I have been frustrated with the RNG of the game, but I didn't complain when it took me 20 hard raid clears to get my first helmet (and no that is not an exaggeration). A handful of raids should not give you the best gear in the game, so for that I give bungie kudos.
