You know when the whinny people will stop defending destiny?
In a month or so when they get bored. DLC won't save it for long. After reading that IGN article, I've lost all faith in game companies and will now wait a full month after their release to even considering buying a game. I have been a Bungie supporter since Halo CE.... I am embarrassed to have shelled out money for a game that appears to have been thrown together in a span of a year. I am starting to think this is why Joe left. He did not agree with what was being done to Destiny. More will come to light in the future, you can count on it, and all the heat and flame I'm about to receive, well go ahead. This time next year, a bigger picture will be painted.

6 RespostasYou really think only whiny people defend Destiny? Wrong, as wrong as me saying only whiny people attack Destiny. Please don't stereotype people you haven't met, as for Destiny itself. I enjoy playing this game with my friends, that's good enough for me. Just because it has flaws doesn't mean it isn't good or enjoyable, it just needs some elbow grease.

2 RespostasI would argue that the game most definitely does not feel like it was thrown together in a year. And that really is a big part of the problem. A lot of the environments look pretty damn good, and all four planets are unique in their own ways. Oh, sure at times mars almost looks like a color swap off the moon's surface and stuff like that, but you can tell that time was invested in making the environments. Then there is also the gameplay itself, which pretty much no one will argue that it is not fun and satisfying. Throw in the grimoire cards and lore on items and you can tell bungie spent time on this game. Then you hit the weak as anything storyline. The loot system that does not reward playing well (pvp) or challenging yourself with higher difficulty missions. Bungie built a solid foundation but then skimped in some areas that make the whole thing feel lackluster. Throw in (allegedly) cutting content for use as DLC, and we all feel cheated because we are having fun but miss what could have, and should have, been built upon the base we see in the game.

1 ResponderI actually enjoy this game. My biggest complaint is everyone complaining and trying to make this game into other games. I read so many forum articles where people are asking for things that I find in other games like Defiance or Borderlands. If you want to play those games then do. Dont try and morph this game into some other game. Let Destiny be "Destiny" and not some hybrid compilation of other games. Aside from a few fixes I like the game the way it is and I have been thoroughly enjoying myself playing it.

2 RespostasNo, we will stop defending Destiny because the whiners won't shut up and we'll go back to playing the game we enjoy. I'm getting tired of people getting pissed off over "issues" that are more likely then not not real issues and having these people go "LALALA YOU'RE WRONG DESTINY'S CRAP CAN'T HEAR YOU LALALA" whenever you say why it's probably not the worst case scenario.
