They never once said this game is just an rpg it have the feel and play style of many types of games and its up to the player witch one better suits them

They dont have to say its an rpg to be one the level system the gear options screams rpg.

It also screams fps. And a bit of a mmo it has many aspects of gaming if you limit yourself to just one your missing out on an amazing adventure this game can be. Either it be you want to solo game and explore. Or team up and go fight bosses and raid and farm for loot. Or you wanna be competitive and go kick some ass in the crucible. This game is suited for all people from all different game types
