Make friends while doing strikes and leveling up to 20... you will have plenty of time and will run plenty if strikes before you get to 20, so friend people you enjoyed playing with and that you thought were good... people are making this way harder that it really is/will be...

Dont bring common sense to the forums, its like bringing medicine to a hospital full of people that dont know they are sick. The whiners will still whine, the lazies will still want things handed to them. I like your post though, and agree with you. From what I have read this generally results in people saying what envy said. Most people cop out and ignore the simple fact that they control what happens to their experience. Therefore its only their fault if things do/dont happen to them in destiny. Its a revolutionary thing, to see a game incorporate personal responsibility into it. It irks people, which apart from the gameplay itself is my favorite part of destiny. Its almost like Bungie is a grown up game company that is decades old.

Heh... Nice analogy... But alas I can't help it... Although common sense is dying I still try to promote it. It is the teacher in me I think.

Unfortunately this requires you to add tons of random people to your friends list with the hope that once in a blue moon you can get 5 together for a raid. I will do it, but I don't like it.
-
Or you can just come here and in a few seconds just ask who wants to do a raid like the OP just made an example of.
-
It's stupid they have to be on your friends list though. I should be able to group up with someone without adding them to my friends list outside the game.
-
Yea that part is annoying I have to admit.
-
Yeah...the above is how every MMO is. You play with different people on a dungeon, and then for massive strikes or raids, call on people you have played with before and mesh well with.

Boom! this is all your have to do right here.
