Glad i saw this because I was just about to make a post asking about level 400. Im currently 399. But its saying no matter how many modifiers i put on i cant earn gear over 400. It wasnt making any sense. Now i see it was by design of course..

Genuine question, why do you want to grind the same map over and over? You will have to do it next season too and New Gear, forever… are you enjoying the gameplay? I’m curious not trolling

At its core, i love Destiny’s gameplay. Its addicting. Yes, the grind f***in sucks, but im used to the grind so it doesnt really bother me too much after 10 years. Plus, it’s the only game i really play. I didnt even buy Edge of Fate so im even more limited on weapon usage then someone who did.

I totally get you, and I’m the same in many ways. I love the gameplay, specifically the movement and gunplay. Love the build crafting too. I’ve also played since start of d2, buying every expansion… I’m now free to play too though (for first time) as the game is too exploitative this season to player time and I don’t want to support it. The most annoying thing for me, aside from the lame jukebox ops grind is that to get the best loot in crucible or pve you have to use New Gear… also gives you an advantage in pve… that’s a nonsense. I like my builds, not forced ones!

I think everyones on the same page right now in terms of how the new system works. Its dogs**t, but i can work with it. One thing that pisses me off is the limitation on exotics. ALL exotics should be usable as “new gear”. Id really like Sunbracers, Osmiomancy, and Contraverse Holds to be available, but whatever. Solo ops is actually kinda cool though. Plus matchmaking for Master strikes works for me. I dont matchmake often, but its convenient that they FINALLY f***in made it an option. Like i said, i didnt buy this DLC so i cant complain too much.
