I love the gunplay. I enjoyed the story and our introduction to the nine. I enjoyed Lodi. I enjoyed the puzzles and matterspark despite its visual glitches. I really enjoy grinding content, I’ve done hundreds of dungeons and played over 3000 hours.
This power grind is disheartening and I thought we moved away from this. I can’t even matchmake for fireteam ops without being sent in alone.
Admittedly, I had a lot of fun when grappler was available because it made old content feel new and faster without skipping ads. Please consider lightening the power grind for future dlc and leaning into what makes the game fun (things like grappler) instead of removing them from the game because they’re “too beneficial.”
Thank you for the game, it’s been great up until this point.
I don't get it.
There's always a big power grind with every major expansion.
Season used to have +50 light power grind, then they brought that down to 10, then for 1 season completely removed it , then back up to 10.
Major expansions have always been about 200 light grind.

I’m past 200. We have to go to 450 and then 550 in Ash and Iron and it resets in 6 months back down to 200. All this work just to have the opportunity to grind weapon and armor rolls that surpass the things I have kept for years. If it was the same as Final Shape, I would have been happy. Does this make more sense? It’s about the quantity.

Yes it's little better but not so much to think or like many deluded fools call... sunsetting. Everything in the game is about choices. There is no have to be this or that or get this or that. It's a players desire. If they don't like to grind yet want higher tier gear then it's a simple choice to weigh up your options. Will the grind be worth it or can you live with older gear and not get the 10% or so bonus?

Editado por feather: 7/19/2025 11:33:04 PMI’m sorry, it seems like you’re just here to complain about my complaining. I don’t wish to continue discoursing with you if you refuse to even attempt to see my point. Have a good day. As an aside, I have not mentioned sunsetting once nor do I think my gear is useless. I genuinely feel like the game has taken 2 steps back and in order for me to get those steps back I have to power grind. I do not wish to do that.

Simply pointing out the obvious when you said we have to get to 450

And you obviously have to get to 450+ if you want to get any armor with decent stats to be able to make a build with the new system where currently 70 does not at all equal previous 100 despite Bungie claiming it would. Any loot below that is just infusion fuel and wasting players' time.
-
Nah there’s players in the 300s getting tier 5 drops. 450 is a number for those who want to chase it.
-
That is untrue 450 is required minimum light to launch ultimate difficulty. So yes if you want to play the game you need to get to 450. If you don't and want to wander around patrol zones then good on you.
-
Editado por The Hermit IX: 7/20/2025 8:34:44 PMNo it’s not required.. There’s ways to bump tiers up one later. So a tier 4 can drop as a tier 5. Your response is exactly like most here. You don’t understand how the new changes work so you dump on the game. Do your research instead of insisting on things.

Sure kid go launch a master anything in the Playlist while under 260.... I'll wait..... yeah you can't. Maybe just maybe look at someone's profile before you spout nonsense.
-
Lol seeing I just schooled you, I’d be your Daddy 😂
-
You didn't do -blam!-.... I literally had to tell you how it worked since you were incapable of getting to next light to launch the activity.... glad you have no clue what you're talking about... 🤡
-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekg-BvkHw0Q Watch the video and admit you’re wrong.
-
You apparently have no clue who you're talking to you're arguing with me you can launch a master difficulty run at 90 light, which you cannot when highest difficulty requires 400 to unlock.....
-
You clearly aren’t getting it. You don’t have to 400 or 450 to get tier 5 drops. Anyone can watch the video and know you’re wrong and nobody cares “who you are”. Lol what a joke. Watch the video Chuckles. Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt.
-
I never said that holy -blam!- you aren't comprehending this at all people like to play max difficulty, so they absolutely need that power level. Just because you yourself want to play on easy toddler mode doesn't mean everyone else does.
-
Dude I said you don’t have to be 450 to get tier 5 drops and you went on a rant. You’re wrong and I’m right. Tip your hat and admit you were wrong. Nobody’s perfect but don’t start acting like that’s not the truth. Maybe you didn’t read my comment and spouted off. I honestly don’t care. When I’m wrong I admit it but here you’re wrong. I’m slowly chugging through the campaign because I don’t have a ton of free time as of late so I’m going back to doing a bit more of that. Enjoy your night.
-
Editado por The Hermit IX: 7/20/2025 8:35:36 PMYou can apply your clown emojis to yourself. If you were right nobody would have tier 5 drops when in fact some players already have gotten them and they’re not 450. But you do and act like it’s too hard lol. Do better. Note tissues on the way to help you 😂

You don't have to get to any light level other than for a desire to get higher tier gear.
