Options *Remove all non enhance origin weapons in the game and make them purchasable in collections for glimmer and enhancement cores with RNG rolls *Permanently increase roll slots from 6 to 7 or 8 by default to prevent holding more then one weapon rolls *4th Character slot "IMO I want this so I can make a solely Pvp character and remove a large amount of pvp armor and weapons from other characters and vault" This definitely an issue if you are playing all three characters

I’ve had a similar idea many times through D2’s life cycle and I still approve.

Or don’t hoard all of that bs that you don’t use and delete that 1900 power gun that you never use

The amount of negative feedback from these “players” 😂 They 100% need more space. Weapons is one thing, then there is armour across 3 players. I’m maxed out all the time. To have certain builds are farm for stats. It’s a pretty poop the space we have. If they did 500 spaces it would be a lot better

Nah Bungie's next step is to sell you vault space which is plausible because there are a variety of MMOs that have that implemented

or you could just delete some stuff I do it all the time, I dont need more than one version of a weapon unless I'm saving them to test later or it's a red-frameable

Hey, they finally increased the cap on Strange Coins so I'm sure Vault is on their to-do list.

Possibly a case of understanding what the precise issue is... maybe loading in all the specific gear with all the variances in rolls/stats to display is process heavy. You think the collections tab has thousands of stuff lined up, but there is no stat/roll requirement, just load in an image and a general roll.... so there's no issue with volume on screen. Locking in your rolls/stats into collections, would be an idea... but the collections UI is awful, and there's several versions of the same weapon included (for no reason, if you have; you have it (I'm aware guns can be released with new perks, but you can't do anything about that in collections though) I'd suggest switching up the UI and load gear based upon a pre-defined selection: So armour could be pre-filtered against your current character, so let's remove un-equippable from view. Think about how vault is meant to be used, you could orders by which things are loaded: You could set strand weapons and find everything strand based, or set auto rifles and find all autos, or you could set legendary, solar, sniper and it will only load those items. So instead of loading 700 things at once, it could load half a dozen. The above would require significant changes, but the crafting UI could be used as a template to work from (still a lot of effort though). You could have all gear drops land in the vault, rather than on characters... so you could fill characters out completely (which would be great)... perhaps limit single gear as x10, so 11th etc... Will go to the postmaster (might be a fiddle to manage tbh). Your 11th better devil's will ultimately mean you have to sort your vault out, but only that weapon (for example).

It would be a long wait. At the meantime try to delete those dusty ones. First to go, lack of OT. Check your craftable options. E.g. VoC, so most of the solar scout need to go, etc. Delete those crafted weapons which are powered-creep. Yes I did that. Delete exotic weapons that you don't use as they can be re-acquired. If you only pve, all PvP weapons need to go. For PvP players, I am not sure as I am not privy to it. Never keep multiple copies of the weapons thinking the perks are good. Only keep those that you will use. Yes Bungie like to do annoying weapons balancing but there will always be better weapons down the road.

lol good luck with that ! 1000 spaces is a lot but I’d only have one character but even when I had three characters and less space seemed to workable .

You don’t think this has been suggested before? They don’t care and want you to spend all your time farming for rolls that continue to be either nerfed or buffed depending on how useful it is to the player from early beginning of this franchise

Just delete everything that isn't craftable as well as anything without any kind of origin trait.

My vault has every craftable weapon stored in there. Keyword stored, because that's all the majority of them do is collect dust. I've only recently started dismantling some for space and I level my stuff up to 30. Stop hoarding.
