Amstrad. That's a name I haven't heard in a long time 🤔 Simpler times with simpler games. And cassette loading 🥴 Excuse my Spectrum assumptions. I always equate Jet Set & Manic Miner with the rubber keyed Sinclair 😉 It is an interesting time to look back on tho. When we see what modern games bring & their associated issues, it's kinda crazy to think we used to jus buy a cassette & that was it. No updates, no dlc. Jus a game. No patches or cosmetics or xp boosts. There would maybe be a cheat code in a magazine but that would be it.

Most people remember the spectrum and commodore 64, I think the Amstrad owners were in a minority. Yeah, it was a different world. Far simpler times, but every bit as enjoyable as all the fancy tech we have today. The worst part was waiting on a tape to load only to get hit with read error a or b.
