I frankly think that the mode is not fun at all, its frustrating as a more casual player as the mode promotes a more comp playstyle, i've noticed too from playing that the better players seem to snowball in the mode as they're rewarded with special ammo that doesn't go away after death making it even harder for casual players to get a foothold in the mode, it punishes you badly for not being to defend yourself, and buffs the better players by making them snowball into harder and harder targets to fight, i really hope destiny brings back the old control as it was more casual in my opinion and have checkmate as an option like it was before.
