Synthoceps nerf
I’ve never taken these off, they’ve been with me since Gaul. I never got on the OEM band wagon, or Anteus I just liked wearing my synthos.
It’s part of my muscle memory, this change will kill them completely and with that likely my love for the game which has been teetering for a long time now anyway.
If you leave them the same in PVE that’s fine but you won’t, more pvp BS killing the part of the game I actually like.

1 ResponderKill them completely? My brother in Christ, not only is this not going to kill them, it's literally a buff. Lunge range is not even close to important in PvE and we're getting more glaive damage and more reload speed/handling in exchange. I'd way rather have reload speed, handling, and glaive damage than some extra lunge range that doesn't get used anyway. I say all this as someone who also has Synthos glued to his arms. Synthos aren't for lunge range, they're for damage.

26 RespostasLunge isn’t a big loss in pve, you also gain glaive damage. The lunge was removed because in pvp lunge range breaks the game, it’s genuinely hard to shoot someone with stacked lunge range, might as well change the lore to say you blink towards your opponent, won’t be missed, any lunge range should’ve left a long time ago.

Bungie said a long time ago that they can tune PVE separately from PVP. Bragged about it. Let’s not promote false narratives and instead hold them to their word.

3 RespostasThe rubberbanding from the lunge was a problem. A huge problem like ophidians. Now it gets passive bonuses and will synergize with glaives again. Its a good change.

imagine thinking that the 1 m extra range will make the exotic bad in pvp, it will make it better where the melee wiffs in pve are near to 0

Most Titan exotics are -blam!- in pve so they might as well make this one -blam!- too to join the rest of them
