Last I checked technology, storage tech, and computing power also gets better over time doesn’t it? Isn’t it a game studio’s responsibility to keep their equipment running at its best? With how much they’ve made with in game transactions they have NO excuse if that’s the case. They literally had to go through with a texture swap cause the game literally couldn’t handle it anymore and tanked. Again. How is its ok that a game like hale infinite can run flawlessly on the first gen Xbox and slim. Yet this game is just non stop Error code: SPHAGETTI no matter the platform. Oh yeah. OPTIMIZATION! This game was 6 days from shut down when forsaken was launched. They rode that show pony in the ground and want us to be ok with standard set literally 4 years ago. The steam player base was 38k as of recently. That’s DEPRESSING. How bout we frame this as “consumers are upset the content they paid for is being removed to make way for ✨Eververse™️✨ while none of the revenue is going back into the game experience” instead? They have zero problem making new shiny emotes and armor. How bout taking that effort and using it where it’s NEEDED! Now we’ve been told we’re getting outright almost ZERO attention to crucible or gambit. The fact you are ok with that shows me all I needed to know. Lmao! Y’all are actual blank pieces of paper with bungie eggplant rider written on it.

Or they could have upgraded to literally ANY game engine that isn’t actually archaic and have done a little thing called OPTIMIZATION. There’s no more excuses for poor project management and development anymore.

This can't be a serious response. Think about what you posted. How much work do you think recoding a game into a different engine that's compatible with their game design. Your proposed solution is literally the worst possible choice they could have made.
