Akimbo SMGs Exotic
Akimbo SMGs would be totally wild and awesome. First off, Duel Wield smgs have always been a thing with multiple fps games like Halo and CoD. It'd fit right in here with Destiny 2. Like the awesome exotic Conditional Finality, you could have two elements for the smgs. One could be Arc with the ability to volt enemies on kills and the other could be void and make nearby enemies volatile with kills. In an addition to make it not too ridiculous, have them use special ammo. But it'd be a great idea for both pvp and pve. It'd be a good rival for shotguns and fusion rifles.

9 RespostasWe have an emote that has akimbo Hand Cannons, I'm imagining a Titan-only exotic shoulder armor. Blissful 3-tap kills via two hands, twice the firepower and twice the ammo. Plus side would be increased damage and way faster ttk, and better hip-fire accuracy. Downside being no ADS or zoom, and drastically decreased recoil direction cones, while also decreasing range and overall accuracy.

1 ResponderI would love to see more weapon archetypes, Akimbo would be cool. I would love to see crossbows, double daggers, whips, staffs, great swords, scythes, rapiers etc. I feel this game could definitely use more variety. Also why do melee weapons still require ammo? Glaives make sense with the projectiles but swords? It never nade sense to me why swords require ammo. Swords in general should only require heavy for heavy attacks. Guarding and light attacks should be infinite considering swords have a charge to begin with.
