GOTD Exotic DropRate Favors New Players.
I’ve done the dungeon 29 times…
( seriously, look me up on Raid Report )
I Have all triumphs…
Helped multiple people get their Catalyst, and Exotic…
What do I get? Nothing…
Because I play allot…
Bungie favors Casuals so that they can feel like the game is rewarding them and honestly its BS and takes the fun out of actually getting the exotic…
Ps. First person to Cry “Bad RNG Bro” in the comments is dead wrong….
It is 100% fixed.

Tbf destiny 1 was way worse in the end reward screen where the lowest on the leaderboard always got an exotic *Cough cough* Casual bait *Cough cough* I once 2 took a 2 week break as a vet, 3rd run of vog (Here is your vex son) Kind of a theory and a stretch but what if the rng is programmed to release dopamine into your brain For example, You have Jimmy, Jimmy plays 20 hours a week, knows all the dungeons, slaps even champs like they are in his backyard. Yet all the deepsights and exotics, don't drop often Then we have Joe, honest family man. Works 50 hours a week. Finally puts the kids to bed and plays, and oh...2 red borders in a row and what's this...the raid exotic to boot on his next raid run This releases dopamine (Happy energy) in the brain to trigger Joe to keep playing for the rest of the week. Rinse repeat This isn't however factual, it's a theory but it's kinda funny that I get all the -blam!- I need after a very long break from the game🤔

If that was the case I wouldn't have gotten it on my 3rd completion of the dungeon.

As someone who has been playing since Taken King. Its not, got on around my tenth run. Just bad rng bro. Try doing the triumphs for the boosted exotic drop rate. I solo flawed it before I got it.

It is 100% fixed.[/quote] Well I’m far from a casual player and I’m certainly not new and yet I had The Navigator drop after three full clears and one checkpoint. In fact not only have I been here longer but I’ve invested [b]far[/b] more time than you have into this game so if your spinfoil hat theory was indeed true then you should have the exotic and I shouldn’t. Your logic has more holes than a block of Swiss. Also you’ve only done 2/5 triumphs that increase your drop chance. By the time I finished my three full clears and one checkpoint I had done 5/5. So if you’re that hard pressed for the drop then it’s time to man up and get that solo flawless.
