I like Rift
I love that fact that there is finally an objective based game mode. Other objective based game modes generally boil down to just a modified version of slayer. I hate to see a pretty good game mode get sh1tted on by everyone. I do think the mode would be better if you had to wait for a couple seconds to plant the spark rather than being able to slam it instantly. Wish they’d make it a permanent playlist or add more modes like CTF.

1 ResponderAs a concept, I like it. Then I jump into a lobby and am quickly reminded that players don’t give a -blam!- about the concept and want to shoot big space guns at each other as much as possible.

Hard pass, control plays better and is traditionally what IB is all about.👎🏼 Whoever at bungie came up with this idea should not be able to come up with ideas for awhile imo.

2 RespostasI’m not trolling you… so right off the bat I wanted to be clear. You and your team literally steamrolled over and demolished every opposing team. I’m not surprised you like rift. I’m sure your team is also unstoppable in Control. When your constantly winning by such a landslide as the other team quits and give up over frustration, though, doesn’t the fact that it’s “objective based” mean less? I mean, you don’t really have to play strategically when you can just steamroll, so does the game mode really matter much?

Personally I wish they’d change it so that there is a 4-6 minute timer and whenever someone held the spark the timer would pause or slow down. I have no reason as to why I want this, just for some reason have this desire.

The respawn timer is too long. Shouldn't be able to die at the spark, then not respawn until the enemy is already at your rift. That's really my only complaint with the mode itself. Still a bug where the spark disappeared and we had a giant Team Death Match with no cap on points until overtime, where the sparks spawned. Was kinda fun tho, not gonna lie.

Yeah I'm enjoying Rift and I think Bungie said that it will be a permenant mode next season and Iron banner will change modes every season.

Perhaps BHQ might make it a regular PvP weekly rotational game mode, just like Mayhem / Momentum / etc?! ✅ But not an IB game mode. 🤨 IB should be IB Clash - with epic armour sets and unique IB weapons…because, that’s what the majority want / expect… 🫡 To BHQ Senior Management: if it ain’t broke, don’t ‘fix’ it. 🤖 Just my 2d worth. The implementation is horrible and its an insult to Destiny 1 Rift gamemode. There's room for improvement it can be better but right now its awful.

These guys are supposed to be making games, not boxes. Recycling content is never good, unless you are making boxes for packaging! But these guys are the king of recycling!!! 😂😂😂 New manager and new director, yet same recycling scheme!😂😂😂 New dogs with old tricks!😂😂😂 I guess once a king, always a king of recycling! 😂😂😂 State of the game!
