I’m not so sure re:freelance mode, feel it might split the player base too much (longer matchmaking)? I mostly join gambit matches as a solo player and do OK. Could as likely stomp or get stomped by 4 randoms as a clan team (my experience). I suppose that means going in with one friend puts you in non-freelance mode? But at least it shows Bungie’s trying to be responsive to players concerns (even if those concerns might be misguided 😂)
