As far as the Hawkmoon is concerned, I preferred it stayed in 140. Raising its fire rate would potentially crap out its damage potential and certain utilities.

This is obviously my second post but you need to understand that every take on you have every response makes no sense, have you ever considered how this would affect the sand box? I am telling you, your logic and reason makes no sense. This isn’t about people being “scared” this is about people actually knowing the outcome of this nonsense you are asking for. Just bc you struggle with Last word which im telling you is already the most insane exotic hand canon. Doesn’t mean it needs a buff for the sake of your lack of skill. Now it’s one thing to make weird suggestions, but it’s another to go around responding to everyone else like they are wrong and by doubting your “intelligence” like it’s a personal attack. Either way, if you are going to take this idea seriously at least base it on actual statistics or consider how it will affect the sandbox.

How would increasing Hawkmoon’s RPM make the gun better? If it was 180 RPM, then it’s perk potential would go down the drain. 2 taps, 2 body 1 head, and 6x 1 taps would be all changed since the base damage would decrease. The gun is also meant to be timed precision. You take the time to land precision hits in order to be rewarded. Shooting out 3 bullets in the span of half second isn’t all too timed or precise. Last Word mag size is perfect where it is. It is one the best dueling weapons because of its TTK, and the mag size prevents it from being a team stomping gun. Besides the catalyst being a perk change/addition, the only thing I can see it reasonably being is just a handling and/or reload boost.

Hawkmoon is considered a top hand cannon in pvp and a decent one in pve I don't think it needs any changes outside maybe a tiny damage buff in pve

Last word needs +1 round in the mag and a kill counter. Anything more will absolutely make the gun broken.

Hawkmoon is fine as is, it rewards patience and good aim, changing it to higher rpm would mean Bungie would have to change the guns perk and whole identity, if you want a fast handcannon just use Last Word, Crimson or even sidearms with a long range weapon. And same for Last Word, on pc its a high skill high reward gun, and on console the aim assist makes it super good, buffing it would mean Bungie would just nerf it after anyway.
