Picture this:
A man walks into a bakery and picks up a loaf of bread. First he salts the loaf, and then proceeds to tear it in half, carve out the insides, and the stomp all over it. He then looks at the baker and says "What a nice loaf of bread! I hope you eat it with a fork though."
I'm about to rant about the fighting lion (FL) nerf, but before I do so, I want to say that the rest of the twab was excellent, I just feel like this shouldn't get swept under the rug with all the good changes drawing people's focus.
the fighting lion nerf to reload speed is asinine. FL is not good or used because of it's reload perks but for its primary ammo and wall bounciness. Manually reloading this weapon is much better than utilizing it's pretty bad reload perks. Bungie knows this but still felt the need to nerf the best way to reload this weapon because they feared a little grenade spam from some people in pvp. A much better solution to this theorized problem would be to give FL its own magazine cap in pvp, but no it needs to get possibly one of the worst nerfs in the game instead. To need to hit 2 enemies at least to be able to reload is unreasonable for pvp and some parts of pve. It also completely kills the catalyst's reload speed buff. Then to add salt to a wound, they call it a light nerf and condescend us for not using the weapon the way they intended.
This nerf should not be ignored. It is unnecessary and kills a really fun weapon. Emphasis on "fun" since this weapon isn't meta and isn't amazing either, it's just a lot of fun to use normally.

There track record for bad ideas for balancing their very broken sandbox never ceases to amaze me. Give all primary weapons infinite ammo but slap on a bunch of unnecessary crap and nerf one of the most under used gl in the game to "balance" it. All I'm asking is why? Why do you have to continuously mess with stuff, you could have just left primary alone nobody asked for this, its not even hard to get primary ammo. This is just unnecessary what did a dev think that this was a smart idea or is this just more dumb ideas from the streamer community?
