You're literally ignoring the fact the game itself stated in forsaken wells hadn't ever been used till then and season of the worthy changed that, literal definition of a retcon

No, it said that they never saw it.A titan without a name has never seen it.Who knows how old he was. The lore tab is a joke about how its similar to a titan bubble. Just because they never saw it, doesnt mean it didnt exist before. People never saw an arcstrider before D2, but it is stated that they existed in the dark age. The same can be said about the well.

Minus all the time that i said that the light isnt limited to one subclass, and that you not knowing about a subclass before doesnt mean it doesnt exist. I used arcstrider as an example of this.
