It’s pronounced zzz. The name for the letter is zed. America has just dropped what they find useless. Like the u in colour. But an educated chap would know that the two o’s in colour make two different sounds. Just like he would know the name for “Z” is zed.

I’m stupid but I’m pretty sure that zed is the Australian way to say z

Imagine using the excuse of phonetics to justify your pronunciation when speaking about the english language. English is not a phonetic language. I think that should tell everyone all they need to know about what you know.
Cough Rough Dough Through ... Pony Bologna. I rest my case.
4 RespostasPower Rangers didn’t name their main antagonist Lord Zeeeeee, because that’s a stupid word; they named him Zed because that’s a goddamn BOSS of a word.

Depends on my mood, although it's mostly 'zeeeee' ( like 90% of the time ). I grew up in a part of the world where most people called it 'zed' . And even though I don't agree with that particular pronunciation, you pick up certain habits growing up, especially if those bad habits come from official educators.

6 RespostasThere may be no “D” in “Z”, but there’s also no “E” either, so frankly that argument falls apart pretty fast when you realize “Z” doesn’t spell “zee” either.

Zee unless we're talking about that one Rush song. Then it's why-why-zed.
-
Both. It’s “zeee” where Americanized English is spoken, and “zed” where British English is spoken.
