15 RespostasDude it’s still an explosive range melee that insta freezes,you guys just haven’t played other classes or don’t know that it’s meant to be used defensively.

It is not just the meele range, the 23% speed nerf to the warlocks super stasis seekers also is overnerf. In PvP i have to go meele to be even able to Freeze good players with it otherwise they will make a circle and run away from it. Titans have fast devastating stasis AOE with their super in meele range and Hunters have a very strong ranged stasis hurricane. What do warlock now have? No Range and in Meele range we will get shotgunned or shouldercharged.........

7 RespostasIf they are going to keep it nerfed , that’s fine. But I don’t understand why stasis for every other class still freezes for so long. It’s so dumb. Like, either sit there and get shot to death over the 5 seconds, or unfreeze yourself, lose all of your health, and then get one shot anyway. They nerfed the shit out of warlocks stasis, I think they just needed one giant nerf to all of stasis!

I honestly stopped using warlock stasis all together because the best thing they have is the grenade with no shatter utility so besides the super you might as well use nova warp for the neutral game. The overcharge void nades on top tree void are pretty good at zone control and also just for easy impact damage and can be used way more often. Yeah void melee doesnt have the range of stasis or top tree dawn but its still good for a backup ability. Stasis you can try to hit but theres a 70% chance you’ll miss or it wont have the range, and you have a super thats near impossible to counter and is also a great shutdown super. TLDR: every tree of voidwalker (yes even nova warp) is better than warlock stasis.

7 RespostasConsidering all the Stasis tools that are available and this one they chose to smack with the nerf mallet? Yup. Freezing an opponent as Hunter or Titan still means certain death, both because of the freeze time and the ability to shatter instantly. Asking for an increase in our melee ability range is not outside the realm of “balance”.

14 RespostasYou trash warlock mains seem to forget that you all for the past couple of seasons have had the best and most consistent neutral game of any class, the instafreeze range melee that you can get two charges of with claws just stepped it over the line to broken. There is nothing stronger in an FPS game than a hard CC and the fact that every other class needs either two abilities to land or to use a super to get a full freeze just shows how idiotic good the warlock was due to an ability not to mention aspects that freeze the closest target after killing a frozen target. ([i]Btw, warlock has the longest default melee than any class![/i]) 2. It's a wasted charge if you overestimate the medium distance between your target. 3. It's a noticeably shit melee in PvE now. (1 and 2)

It’s literally the same thing with Shadebinder and Penumbra blast. I’m sure top tree Dawn and Celestial Fire is next on the chopping block. Meanwhile Spectral Blades and Revenant will run rampant until they turn the servers off. Bungie sandbox team is a joke and clearly biased.

For sure it's too short for PvE, many times I've lunched the icey ball only to have fall short! But for PvP I'm not so sure, I seem to have more trouble from Hunters and Titans than I ever do from Warlocks. But they are increasing the range by an extra 37% I believe and making it so that you can be closer to your target and still use the ability (by 31% I think) instead of just slapping them. Always fine tuning for any new skills etc, I'm sure it won't be long before they start nerfing others on different classes too.
