Where do I begin...
Campaign Story
-Same old 1 dimensional Destiny story lines, new bad guy arrived, kill bad guy.
-Same old terrible dialogue and cutscenes that feel like trailers.
-Filled with Corny one liners and Cliche’s like “the line between light and dark is so very thin”
-the stranger really didn’t explain anything, nothing was explained in fact.
-What was that? Like 3-4 hours??!?
-Artificially extended play time by making you go from Variks, back to the tower, back to the stranger, sparrow across Europa.... do busy work
-Stasis is kinda cool I guess... it also completely breaks PVP, getting frozen is guaranteed death.
-We fight the fifth version of fallen re-skins in 6 years LMFAO. Woulda thought with all the new architecture of the triangles it would be the right time to introduce a new alien race... NOPEEE
Europa + cosmodrome
-Another barren wasteland with nothing to do in it. Feels like d1 mars but with snow and even more dead.
-No fast travel point on the north side to artificiality inflate your playtime
-Cosmodrome is back LMFAO more rehashed content what’s new
Sunsetting
At first I wasn’t opposed to this, just like the power cap on pre-ttk weapons. That was, IF THEY ACTUALLY PUT NEW GUNS IN THE GAME.
-there’s barely any new weapons, and plenty are still reskins. In the past September expansions we had new armour and weapon sets for every single activity (crucible, vanguard, raid, trials, iron banner, gambit, strike specific, hell even factions in d1)
-they power capped guns which people grinded hours for a god roll, and now they start dropping again with uncapped versions?!??!? Biggest slap in the face by bungie ever.
Overall lack of content
-1 new strike, (sorry, D1 strikes doesn’t count), 7 vaulted
-NO new crucible maps, 11 vaulted
-NO new crucible modes, a bunch removed
-NO WORLD LOOT POOL REFRESH
-1 raid but at the cost OF 5. FIVE. Cinco.
Not only is there the smallest loot pool of all time, there’s also the smallest amount of variety within crucible maps, strikes, raids, gambit, modes, planets EVER.
Overall, this is the single greatest ripoff bungie has ever made for 50$. On top of that, they are still selling forsaken and shadowkeep to scam newcomers who will be spending money on stuff that literally does not exist in the game anymore.
TLDR: for a whopping 50$, you get
one raid
one planet
one strike
no new loot pool
And you lose
4 planets
5 raids
7 strikes
11 crucible maps
All the weapons you worked for
A somewhat fun PVP game free of broken stasis

I predicted this exact post over a week ago. Many more will follow.

4 RespostasBungie is either working on another game, or they are intentionally making this game bad. If you continue to make the same mistakes you’re either stupid or you’re luke smith. There was 0 excuse for sunsetting beyond Lucas forcing you to play his way. Who gives a shit if someone wants to crutch mtntop? They are having fun, Bungie has become the anti fun company. I really hope another looter shooter comes around and makes Bungie finally sweat because with no competition in this genera this is what we get. Lazy Bungie.
-
I have always given bungie the benefit of the doubt but this is the worst steaming piece of crap they ever delivered. The only thing I have to add to your list is that gambit is now more unbearable than it ever was. Does it go quicker? Yes. But the experience is beyond terrible. I can’t stress how much I hate it now

2 RespostasI take it they removed cross play with forsaken? I bought the dlc on xbox and it don't work on pc. Stuff says "requires forsaken dlc". .. ummm . . . Also, this is why you don't purchase it. I didn't. Happy I didn't. Wish I'd stop playing it, but it's fun talking shit with you idiots in the game, also battling it out can be fun at times. But stasis really has to go from pvp. Biggest bullshit, bullshit ass bullshit I've ever seen in a game.
-
Sunsetting has killed any hope of trying, I feel horrible about any time I put in this game going forward because any gear I invest in now will just be sunsetted next expansion. Come on, did the new developers even play Halo???! No they were in diapers when I was owning noobs... I want to upgrade my Gambit Notorious Collector gear set.... darn sunset on all of my hopes and aspirations!!!

1 ResponderDo I see it correcgly that you get four missions and a strike before the last fight?
-
1 ResponderDude just bide your time. Its only been a week. Its allowing fully dedicated players, to casual players, to newbies to complete the campaign and get used to the changes and different dynamics. Not all players are like you, or even have time like you to exhaust every aspect of the dlc in a half a day. You just want a forum thread, and truthfully no actual Destiny fans read these. I got caught this negative feedback vortex trying to see if there is an invisible mod for the stasis hunter. But I across came across your nonsense and had to respond. What do you know about this Tuesday's refresh...nothing. Your expectations came based on a dollar sign and you think you blew your load before the money shot. So lick up your pig vomit and go play Hello Kitty Adventure.

Imo game didn’t need more strikes/crucible/gambit maps because you rarely see the ones you like since there’s no form of voting and strikes still don’t have exclusive strike specific loot despite that being something added back in d1 after a year and here we are going into what would be d3 and don’t have that. Game needed more dungeons and loot than it got with beyond light and some type of event would have been nice or at least something to keep patrol a bit more exciting like spawning more of the roaming world boss like things they added. That’s about it aside from the environmental aspects which are fairly cool on Europa. Also right now subclass customization is looking pretty sad since they couldn’t even give us 2 aspects in first week which implies “customization” is going to be very light and basically will just be sliding fragments around which are shared across all characters. Think of beyond light as d3 where they kill everything you love about previous game and break pvp and rest of game while they are at it. At least stasis is fun to use, but if you main pvp that’s just grounds for complaints. I personally have hated the loot/lack of skill tree depth/general ability effectiveness besides supers in d2 and those never really made any improvements till beyond light. Forsaken guns weren’t as much an improvement on loot as it was an undo button for what bungie ruined with d2 launch. Also favored the recovery/resilience/mobility being in skill tree since it reduced 3 layers of RNG on armor.

Agree, 100%. The only this worth adding; they didn't bring back the Cosmodrome, they brought back 2/3 of it. And it's not even the right version (missing the changes due to RoI events). They couldn't even so a re-issue right. It's sad to say, but considering the seasonal model, I can't see this year bringing in any other content that will stay. This is what we've got. Better get used to it, I guess.
-
Agree. No content AND almost all the weapon you can get only when you have the battlepass. Bungie, I hope you get bankrupt for this.

5 RespostasEditado por Tilting the Void: 11/15/2020 10:10:45 PMYeah overworld PvE content is nothing but quest after quest after quest after quest after quest after quest, and yep you guessed more questing. I mean throw us something every once in a while, but all we get is a mediocre drop after a dozen quests, which then leads to more quests. Not to mention the new loot tables are scant. Beautiful looking Europa map, but honestly it's getting boring fast. This expansion tells me not to buy the next one. Very beyond disappointing.
-
Finally someone who is objective and real. Absolutely agree with you brother. Preach.
-
2 RespostasStraight facts. And I love how you mentioned the corny one liners. Like, can’t we stop with those? They aren’t as cool as you think bungie. And the cutscenes don’t explain anything
-
yeah it's pretty disappointing. what I wouldn't give to transport back to house of wolves era
-
8 RespostasI hate to say it but gambits the only one worth playing.
-
And i’m still going to grind the hell out of it too :)
-
3 RespostasYeah umm....I’m sorry guardians. I didn’t see a problem with sunset a few months ago. I didn’t know it would be THIS bad. As for OPs first point the story looks cool imo.

2 RespostasEditado por Nval1d: 11/15/2020 11:41:39 PMAnd the “new” titan class needs to be fixed

1 ResponderI can't disagree with anything. I would even add a few things, like the solo lost sectors is actually detrimental to the cooperative aspect. Some players in my clan simply don't like to play alone and are slowly but surely taking a step back. I would also mention Gambit, which is somehow less fun than either of its previous versions and still not available on freelance. What is making me have a lot of fun though is Stasis. I really want to give that to bungie. I understand it is taking a lot of space in crucible, but it's a lot of fun in pve (and pvp imho). Bungie should simply reduce freeze timer in pvp and players who break free should not take any damage. What is also hurting the perception of this dlc is how bungie tried to fill in the blanks by draining how players acquire stasis, aspects, and fragments. Too many players stopped playing or formed a strong opinion before unlocking every capacity. Instead of giving players something fun to do with it, they turn the quest to acquire it into content. Wrong move.
-
I’m enjoying it. It’s not even been out a week. I still have plenty to do to entertain me. 😊
-
And crucible which is the only thing I played during every content drop is a cluster -blam!- with stasis. Whenever there was an issue with the rest of the game pvp was always around. Not anymore.
-
I won’t “rent” (because we no longer own stuff) anything until i see the raid. If it is mediocre then i’ll have to move on until free VoG returns.
-
so for me, i stop playing destiny after the "red war" in about the second or first week of d2, now that i came back, it's still the same just with a little but more s h i t to do, my plan was to play all the dlc and come back in a year or 2, 3 but thay took away the first 2 dlcs, so there's no real reason to buy the other 2 dlc since i was all ready hooked with the fist one, tho i got to like the 3rd mission then beyond light come out
-
2 hours in and im already rescycling content, what an embarrassment destiny 2 has become.
-
1 ResponderThe stranger did explain what are you even talking about, did you even play the game and listen to wtf she had to say? She's from a different timeline
