In my opinion, it’s pretty clear what the final boss of destiny will be. The enemy you never felt intimidated.
The one that has never served either light or dark.
The vex.
According to the lore, these aren’t vex combat frames. These are the builder frames.
The vex haven’t had their victory yet.
Our final conflict will be our first, and last loss

I would dissagree with this cool theory but the way I see it going is like this. We keep getting information on how the traveler might not be as good as it seems and with us getting -blam!- or a darkness based subclass so the dark might not be “evil” and we keep learning that their are these beings which fate converges and the forces out their can’t see what they will do and are interested in these individuals. I think it’s more likely to be based upon our guardian possibly fighting against or disregarding the light and dark. As atheon taught us guardians make their own fate so will be continue to be pawns in the game between the light and dark I don’t think so. I’m no lore god take this with a large pinch of salt but this is how the story is to my understanding and how I think it may come to an end

1 ResponderWhat if the vex and their simulations predicted the traveler and the effects it has on us, for seeing the Demi god status guardians have, so the vex tip the cabal to wipe out earth before 1990. Thus ending any chances of us actually knowing about them.

The vex win in the same way that imagine two kids fight over a spot on the playground. One is immortal and comes back in 100 years after the other kid is long gone and therefore ‘wins’

2 RespostasWrong, the final boss is
Luke Smith! You believe Calus made robots of Himself. This is false. They were in fact made in the image of Luke”PowerCreep” Smith. Once he is dethroned... Everyone Wins!
The True Endgame

What many don't get about the Vex is that Convergence is a slow process, and they only took over planets before we got there or after we were killed off. They rarely take the fight to us. Hell, the main Network made ONE move to circumvent us and we put Panoptes down quickly. The Divisive are a different story, but once the Deep is gone, they will fade. Even when we do win and the Gods fall and the Vex become unhindered... they likely won't convert Earth until after we're extinct.>
