Imagine introducing an elite high skill pvp activity in a low-skill spray and pray meta for window lickers and crayon eaters.

Bungie ruined Destiny 2 PVP by compressing the skill gap way too much. Few years later they get the decency to promise an "increased focus" on PVP, and their solution to that is making Auto Rifles the strongest weapons. Once again making the same mistake, what a blunder. The easiest weapon to use a spray and pray weapon type should never be the strongest weapon. It should always be precision weapons.

What employee with a brain the size of a pea thought it was a “gOoD iDeA” to buff Hard Light to a .70 ttk and keep no falloff range for it?!? It’s all anyone uses in trials...outstanding move Bungie!!!

The game is so slow now, nobody challenges any lanes. Any playlist you queue the enemy team is a bunch of flashlights in the back of the map, and when you challenge from mid range you get a volley of hard light followed by a body shot from someone hard scoping behind them. I just don't understand. Each season is a different cheese and there's literally zero skill gap.

Hey! Look! Another post asking for stupid nerfs! 1. Hard Light has been shit for 5 years. Let it be something good. 2. There is NOTHING wrong with revoker. If they miss the shot, they get it back. I don't see the problem there. It's nothing like Icebreaker which conjurated bullets out of thin air. 3. It might be boring for you but really fun to others. That's why it is so -blam!-ing hard for bungie to make a sandbox update. NO MATTER what they change. If it's too good: nerf it. If it's too bad: buff it If is mediocre: nobody cares. -blam!- right off you.

I'm glad there's a new auto rifle meta. The almost perpetual handcannon meta was boring. I'm sure it'll be back after they nerf the auto rifles again though.

After almost 2 years of a hand cannon/shotgun meta, I love it!

Dude I got 5 wins in a row with my [b]bow[/b]. My first every trials. If it's so damm broken why don't you use it yourself. I don't. I use my bow instead because [b]I'm better with it[/b] and not good enough for 7 wins in a row. But you know what? Eventually I will be.

This hard light meta is absolutely stupid, it caters to the common player who does not have enough mechanical skill to use something like a hand cannon which requires an element of skill. Hard Light has a mad that approaches 50 bullets, meaning that they can sit there and spray for 10 seconds without reloading. What makes this even worse it that on top of it requiring no skill to use, it has a 0.70 ttk, which is 0.10 seconds LESS than a spare rations, which unlike the Hard Light, does not have UNLIMITED range, max stability, ricochet rounds that actually bounce and do extra damage, and the ease of use so that even a vegetable could use it. Also, all of the seasonal artifacts are in favor of making weapons like this even MORE viable. This weapon NEEDS to be nerfed. It’s all anyone is using on pc and console, I went flawless on both and it’s even more ridiculous on console because you can’t even turn on max sensitivity to react to it. This new sandbox is fine overall, but the issue with auto rifles...especially Hard Light needs to be fixed asap. People in the forums in favor of hard light are all blueberries that think they are good now, but as soon as this hard light meta is over, they will go back to being trash. Destiny 2 needs to be a game in which people with aim are rewarded, not people that can spam an assault rifle that is ABSOLUTELY broken.

How did I know this would happen? Hard light. A classic destiny weapon since 2014. It's been garbage this whole time. It finally has gotten a chance to compete...5 days later and people already want it nerfed. My word, LET THE GUN HAVE A CHANCE! Auto rifles have only been viable twice in all of destiny, and the last time was three years ago. Hand cannons are ALWAYS meta. They should NOT nerf auto rifles in the next season. We needed a change from hand cannons. And the infinite range is kind of a big part of hard light's exotic perk, it's not that ridiculous.
