A friend of mine's account is broken. Here are the facts.
Log into Destiny 2, press A, select character, black screen for aprox 2 minutes, then watercress error.
THIS IS NOT A NETWORK ISSUE!!!
THIS IS NOT A CONSOLE ISSUE!!!
Logged in on multiple XB on same network, same issue.
Logged in on alt account on same XB on same network as above, NO ISSUE!
Logged in on XB on opposite sides of the continent, same black screen and error.
Logged in on same XB as above on alt account, NO ISSUE!
This is clearly an ACCOUNT issue, and is on YOUR END! Other games work just fine for this profile, it is ONLY Destiny and ONLY THIS ACCOUNT.
The account name is Cankle J
He has contacted you before, and has been flat out ignored beyond being told that this is a network issue on his end.
PLEASE HELP HIM!

10 RespostasI am having the same issue Here is what I have tried: 1.) ISP-new modem in bridge mode and plug xbox1x directly to ISP modem still watercress (eliminates ISP [ISP tech present to check all thing related to ISP} and modem as problem, eliminates NAT, uPnP, IvP6 and router as problem) 2.) Netgear nighthawk xr500 (new) reload destiny 2 on fresh 5 minutes hard boot of xbox1x = watercress (this indicates that ISP, router are not the problem and confirms #1 points to Destiny 2/Bungie) 3.) delete Destiny and re download =watercress (destiny 2 is the problem or profile is corrupted) 4.) Fresh download of destiny 2 on SSD = watercress (eliminates the xbox1x) 5.) new xbox1x repeated the above steps (destiny 2 and/or my profile in destiny2 are the problem since the season of the worthy update 3/10/20) 6.) load alternate profile (my sons)=no issues I have had no response from Bungie support. The forums push the blame to my connectivity. Bungie provides no help or guidance or accountability. We have no way of talking directly to support and Bungie and if our profiles at Bungie are corrupted, no way of obtaining a fix. I have spent 7 years playing Destiny. I have enjoyed the good times and stayed though the not so good times. In the current situation, I have no control of my DESTINY as it relates to this game. I am at the end of this game.
