I’d argue TTK was more important because it finally got the ball rolling and we had progression rather than

I’d argue that forwarding the main storyline “aka:THE DARKNESS” is a bit more important than any other storyline. Even oryx’s storyline

Okay fair point, kind of throw Oryx as a real embodiment of darkness since it feels like we will never actually get to deal with the literal darkness ever

It is my belief that bungie has decided to make “the darkness” just the bad guy version of “the light”. All enemies of the traveler wield “the darkness”. Whether or not there is an actual new race of aliens piloting the pyramid ships is beyond me. But I think they’ll try to avoid having to design another enemy type altogether

I think your right, I personally already view the Taken as the darkness. I wish they’d build groups up, such as The Taken, The Hive, The Nightmares more since they feel like our actual rival. As cool as some Vex stuff is, I don’t feel like I care as much. And the Cabal barely feel like a threat, even with this season. And the Fallen need some extreme lore updates and attention as a whole for me to even consider them relevant(no offense to those who liked the Scorn)
