You mean 2 meters more range...😉
-
Yeah, ever since that HC range nerf the range on NF and Luna’s are pretty similar
-
I have it.
-
Then why talk about boosting the range of Luna’s howl if you already have NF?
-
Because it's a 150, it should have 150 range. IF they wanted to leave it a 180 they should have left the perks alone. It got spit-roasted. That's right, screwed from both ends.
-
It does have 150 range though. Luna’s howl has a higher base range than many other 150 and even 140 rpm hand cannons. It’s also a precision frame with a very high stability stat which inherently makes it much easier to land shots, even at the farther end of its effective range. Not only that, but magnificent howl gives the buffed shot a huge amount of extra range. There is literally no reason to give Luna’s howl more range when you have not forgotten as a weapon as well.
-
I'm gonna disagree, with all due respect. Your opinion has as much value as mine does. I just don't like seeing what I see being done with that weapon. Frankly it's sad.
-
Yeah, I definitely feel that tbh. They never should have made it into a 150 in the first place.
-
IMO, putting it back as a 180 would be the right thing to do, it really doesn't have the range to engage the 140,150 weapons anymore. I'm not sure what its true range is but I'm gonna call it sub-20 now. Sad.
-
Fallout probably has a video about the hand cannon ranges after the whole range cap was out in place. It probably shows the distance that Luna’s is effective at. They definitely should have left it as a 180 though. I feel that they should have at most reworked mag howl to work like it does now, only activating on the shot after the consecutive precision hits, and left it at that.

That....would not be a good idea. It would just be the same issue as before: Luna/NF the undisputable Kings in PvP. It would be awful for everyone who doesn't have them. And I have NF and I don't want that.
