For what I understand , the issue is not 10 RL kills.. You can almost do that in 1 match! The issue is having 1 brick for just 1 guy, so the 1st to come is served, i guess! Then this will make every single fk head camp the heavy instead of playing the game. A good strategy would be get the 1st brick, save it and wait that everyone goes for the 2d brick. With a truth, you literaly can almost kill an entire team if they're close enough.

  • if your teammate gets heavy and your near by you can also then pick it up at the station. they updated this not too long ago.

  • That's just in the normal crucible modes. In ib is just 1 brick per player, 1st to come is served. Unless they change it this season. Still my point is valid, even if they change the heavy spawn, you know all the fk heads gona be around heavy camping instead of playing the game. I think that's op problem, at least for me that would be a problem.

  • i picked up heavy after a teammate yesterday in IB and yeah OP's point is valid regardless. the quest step ruins gameplay.

  • That's how it's been working same as last season. Once a teammate grabs it you have 6 second window to grab it as well. Only competitve heavy is rewarded 1st come 1st served basis.

  • I had the idea that was 1st to come, gets served, but, if you say that's it how it works then I probably was confused. Still, you know everyone will be camping at heavy instead of playing the game. I think that's the op problem because that would be the problem to me.

  • I didn't have to camp heavy to secure it and I'm primarily a solo player. If other players are doing this then it's easy to get 2 flags and win the game, it's better to receive the 5 tokens at the end of the game then 3. Power ammo has a timer, I would go check it and if it's close I'll try kill anyone around push up to their spawn and fight there and once it's up I fall back and easy secure. This is how I play any control match anyways.

  • That's what you do, but, doesn't mean that's what the others are doing or do. Most of the times I don't even bother with heay, unless I'm passing by and it's unlocked. Other thing, if everyone is camping at heavy, that doesn't mean that you gona get an easy win bud. That's a randon thing, depending the amount of players that are trying to complete that step quest.

  • Any game is won by map control. With that said yes it is a easy secure because not everyone is camping like OP suggests. Even as a solo player I can fight players off of heavy if I'm by myself, buy time for my team to get to where I am. Thats if I can't secure a choke point to control heavy which happens. Any seasoned crucible player would know the first ammo spawns in 45 seconds after the game starts so you have 45 seconds to secure map control before heavy is up. After that you have 1:30, by then you should have your super and if you have to use it to secure heavy ammo thats a win for your team. If OP bothered to study the maps and ammo timer which takes a few seconds instead of -blam!- about campers then he/she wouldn't have any issues with the pursuit. The pursuit is easy the community just likes to -blam!- and moan if they can't finish the quest within 5-10 games, there's a week to finish the pursuit and its done for that character for the next 3 months.. sounds good to me.

  • What you're forgetting is that in ib, a lot of pve players jump in! Especially now with the pinnacle rewards. So, most of them don't even know what they're doing 90% of the time. So, getting 10 kills with a RL os not the problem! Like I said, with a truth you can do that almost in a game if you know what you're doing. What I think the op was stating, is the mentality that almost destiny player have, rush everything and do it the fastest way possible! That's why every game, you gona have all the fk heads rushing to camp at the heavy spawn. I didn't bother I won't bother to play in, because is pointless but if I jump into a match that's what is going for sure. At least for me, I don't wana play a match where the all team or the majority is camping at heavy. I think that's the op problem, not the 10 kills.. That's easy to do.
