I'm not saying a huge buff but enough so that if your running a hand cannon or scout with high caliber rounds it should flinch a sniper or scout when landing multiple head shots.

Isn't high calibur rounds already good? It seems like Bungie makes a small tweak to it and you people act like they completely changed it. People always say it's either super OP or super weak. Isn't it possible that it's just balanced the way it is?

I found that if I am dragging the scope on my sniper and I get tagged to just pull the trigger. Watch some videos on flinch if you are on the target it pulls you away, if you are near the target it pulls you to the head. I’m sure I hit a lot of shots because someone shot me as I was still targeting. Seriously watch some fallout plays on flinch.

1 ResponderThe other day I was landing headshot after headshot on a sniper with a machine gun from ~40 metres and still he got a headshot off on me. Flinch in general needs a buff.

1 ResponderI can't tell a difference with HCR and without. Either way a sniper will not flinch enough to miss me, unless I'm the one sniping, then I'll flinch so hard that I just shot behind me

No, please do not. If anything, tone down unflinching effects vs hcr. You already get range from hcr. Do not bring back the days of tools in D1 with MIDA that make flinch horrendous.

Are you testing this in private matches with some buddies? Do you know what other people are using? You need to provide some more info for the feedback rather than just saying what the problem is.

I just think it needs a buff against snipers. Primary flinch is pretty annoying.

Enhanced unflinching aim (insert weapon type here) pretty much negates it.

Just increase Flinch on special weapons because they already 1-shot. You deserve to be able to take down a mindless sniper/grenade launcher/fusion/shotgun. Bullet Magnetism in this game makes hitting headshots while playing mindlessly easy.

1 ResponderExcept that would break Mida... Again... High RoF weapons should just flinch less than low RoF weapons. It's already insane that shit like mida 4 taps so easily cause of its aim assist but the flinch against things like Jade Rabbit make them far harder to use.

HCR in general need a buff cause using it on my Lonesome sidearm and it just feels like a waste. Be getting headshots in close ranges on a sniper user with it and they still some how get a headshot (doesn't help aim assist and bullet magnetisum is stupidly broken on snipers and need nerfed). Really doesn't help we can use 2 unflinching armor perks now.

You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but,Some creatures of the Hive strain against the Will of Oryx. Alak-Hul the Darkblade is one such. Long ago he fomented rebellion against the King and attempted to take his mantle. Alak-Hul failed and now awaits the “mercy” of the Hive. Given the chance the Darkblade will step in to take Oryx’s crown. We must not allow another prince to rise.

HCR should knock snipers out of ADS. That's the only change I think it needs.
