Every Iron Banner I'm Reminded...
Spoiler alert: [spoiler]Lots of whining from a garbage player. Bring out your memes and uninspired alt accounts.[/spoiler]
Nothing but 6 stacks as a solo queue.
Run meta or you immediately lose.
PvP is just absolutely trash, and the skill ceiling turns out to actually be pavement it's so low.
Literally use Wi-Fi on AOL dial-up and be invincible. Reports do sweet FA.
Unbroken, Unbroken, Unbroken, Unbroken,... (Alt.; Heavy as Death ad nauseum, 100+ Made Shaxx Proud, etc.)
Joining games in progress with a 40+ deficit.
My team is full thumbless troglodytes who have never seen or touched a control point a day in their lives.
Matchmaking is such a joke it makes Amy Schumer look like Ron White.
Going from being Mercy Ruled to joining a match in progress is a thing. And you'll probably get Mercy Ruled again.

At all. It's a shoehorned addition that has, historically, worsened the quality of the game in it's entirety. And month after month, it's still kept as an integral component to the game as a whole instead of completely separating it from the rest of the game so [b]both[/b] aspects can flourish.
I want to like PvP. I do. I want to enjoy it. But the continued insistence on hamfisting it into the game makes me loathe it every, single, time I [i]"have"[/i] engage in it, and it makes me not want to play the game at all.

1 ResponderSounds like complaining..anecdotal experience and magnification of outliers..... I played solo all night using non meta weapons. Win some lose some. But I did pretty good every game. 22+ kill matches..efficiencies of 1.5 to 8...playing against stacks and try hard with meta loadouts too. Just have fun. It's a low intensity mode that rains rewards win or lose.

I can't even find the will to try playing it... I remember my last time into the IB was soooo bad that I couldn't touch PvP for weeks. Things are still the same... for the Traveler sake, Bungie, do something for your PvP.

2 RespostasJust wait until all the F2P players join in and start voicing their belief on how crucible should be balanced. That will also inevitably affect PvE as well. I urge you to stay strictly F2P if you stay for Shadowkeep. Between the balance battles and the loss of paid content after each season, Destiny 2 is about to become an even bigger train wreck than Y1 ever was. It's not worth the money

2 RespostasEvery IB I’m reminded by just how garbage ARs and Scouts are period. Two wasted archetypes of weapons that individually have great gun mechanics. Gun mechanics, the thing that Bungie has managed to do better than anyone else. Such a shame. Here, hold my beer while I grab my Bygones or Service Revolver from the vault.

I know I’m late to getting this, but the Redrix quest made me hate it that much more. And don’t get me started on Recluse.

8 RespostasThat's not my experience at all. The Iron Banner works better for me than any other PvP mode. My stats go way up during this time. Connections are better, the guns are more consistent and I have a fighting chance against the competition. I still come across one sided matches, mostly due to the mechanic where it locks control zones for the wolves howling, or whatever. Still, I individually do better even in those matches. Overall, PvP is far better for me here.

2 RespostasBest part is pvp is currently the way it is because bungie listened to you guys. It was balanced comparatively at launch just didn't have that destiny pvp feeling. Now it's a cheater filled, broken joke of a game and it's about as deep as a spoon. Hopeful it'll change but even then it'll never be competitive

i enjoy pvp alot. i like running triple snipers and going for clips. i dispise ib as well because i got mercied last night 3 consecutive games in a row all as a solo player against 3 different 6 stack all of which had a minimum or 3 striker titans using shotty with either NF or a bygones using OEM. IB has and will continue to bring out the worst in people.
