Since I've been growing bored of literally every single game I have been playing, I'm in need of a new game/games to play. Mainly an RPG type game. Anything worth getting?
Keep in mind, I'm on xbox.
I was also considering playing Tera for awhile since it is free.
Edit: I forgot to mention some of the games i have already played.
I played through Dark Souls 3, Most of the Fallout Series, and Skyrim. I also played through a fraction of Diablo 3.

Editado por Uncanny_Vale: 8/20/2019 9:59:33 PMI’m currently playing through Dragons Dogma for the first time (PS4 version). I don’t know why I skipped it the first time round but it’s actually really good. Very much like Dragon Age if you’re into that. The graphics are a bit dated but it holds up surprisingly well for six year old game.

Literally any final fantasy

2 RespostasDark Souls (Remastered is on everything and fixes the original game's bugs). Dragon Quest 8 (is great on 3DS) or 11 (which I haven't played yet but looks amazing.) Darkest Dungeon is a great game but also very difficult.

Grand Theft Auto Online.

If you’ve got a PS1 then I would recommend Legends of Legaia! One of my favorite turn based RPG’s.

Editado por IMADAJ: 8/18/2019 7:44:49 PMIf you want to try some free old school stuff here are a few off the top of my head I really enjoyed over the years. You will need to download an emulator or two for these. Zork (texted based adventure) Eye of the Beholder 1-3 (Dnd game where you can transfer characters through each game) Lands of Lore Ultima (3 and 5 I particularly enjoyed) Questron Eamon (another text adventure where you can transfer your character through multiple games. Start with Beginners Cave.) Dragon Warrior 1-3 hold a special place in my heart. Might and Magic (3 and 5 I played and enjoyed) I’ll add more if I think of any.

Editado por o r c a: 8/18/2019 10:46:14 AMThe Outer Worlds is dropping soon and that looks pretty interesting conceptually but I've been picking up some older games like Eartbound and have been enjoying those.

The outer worlds comes out in October.

1 ResponderEditado por CAD1420Z: 8/18/2019 5:18:18 AMIf you liked Skyrim, you can get and play Oblivion and Morrowind on your xbox. I'd recommend Morrowind over Oblivion personally, because it is the objectively better game when it comes to story and aesthetic. If you felt Skyrim was pretty generic, Oblivion will be worse. Be warned, if you do want to play Morrowind it is extremely dated at this point and may be hard to get into due to it's gameplay mechanics being almost entirely reliant on dice rolls/RNG modified by your skill levels. Aside from that, it's still a solid game with a fantastic world and a ton of unique loot, areas, characters, and a faction system that actually matters. Want to join the Fighters Guild? Great, all Imperial aligned factions such as the Mages Guild, Blades, and Imperial Legion will like you more while every Native Dunmeri faction such as the three Great Houses of Hlaalu, Redoran, and Telvanni will dislike you more. I'll cut it off here so I don't go posting an essay about the glories of Morrowind again. Though it is tempting. Especially since there are so many heathen N'wah on this forum who know nothing about it.

Pretty sure Saint’s Row is on Xbox, good stuff

7 RespostasI heard monster hunter world got a bad rap when it first came out, but I got it a month ago and enjoy it.

1 ResponderPathfinder 2E came out a while back, Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC for short) is pure old school cool, and there's also a relatively new Legend of the Five Rings out. If you're into sci-fi stuff there's Mutant Crawl Classics (from the makers of DCC) and Starfinder (from the Pathfinder folks).
-
1 ResponderI love the Dragon Age games. Also been replaying both Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games and I still recommend them even if they're dated.

Mass Effect trilogy is backwards compatible.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Mass Effect and Dragon Age

17 RespostasMoonlighter is a shopkeeping dungeon crawler RPG if that combo interests you. It’s quite fun and they just had a content update

There's some people who haven't played TheWitcher 3 yet/ Are you one of them? There's that, or Divinity: Original Sin 2, or Mutant: Year Zero.
-
1 ResponderDivinity Original Sin 2 - Old school top down turn based RPG. It’s really good. Great writing, deep quests with loads of flexibility in how you complete them. Also the combat is really rewarding and deep. Dark Souls - If you haven’t already played these you definitely should. They are some of the best games ever made.
