There is a toggle on/off button, its called choosing a different perk
If you have trouble turning while sprinting your sensitivity is to low and you should real try to up it.

Are you -blam!-ing blind you asked a question and i gave you the most obvious answer possible, if you dont like traction activate the other perk that comes on the boots, and if you want a tighter turn radius increase your sensitivity you -blam!-

Higher sens =/= traction. -blam!- mad

Sure it doesnt increase movment speed, but it does affect turn speed
