Ya see theres still the logic that "PvP players have to play PvE" in order to obtain certain extotics.
Truth? Entirely PvE Quest oriented but crazy good in PvP.
No, the quests are fine as is, bungie isnt making PvE players jump through flaming hoops, they just want you to get kills in PvP, the steps arent even that bad anymore
Ya wanna look at bad? look towards D1 thorn quest, or D1 chaperone quest, THOSE took work.

Imagine not having been good with TLW
-
That's why op is asking for the option to do either pvp or pve, you want a gun but don't want to do pve? Choose the pvp version of that step, vice versa.
-
Nah, I just did chaperone during SRL.
-
That's when I did my Chaperone quest, too. Lol

Editado por Maskerader: 7/2/2019 7:29:47 AM
theres still the logic that "PvP players have to play PvE" in order to obtain certain extotics
I see nothing wrong in allowing you to obtain these weapons through PVP. Especially if you think PVP is always harder. Why fight against each other when it's possible to make it so we all can have fun? Oh. That's what PVP is about, actually. Finghting each other to make others' experience worse... Nevermind.
-
Problem is the games of Gambit or PVP where you are on a team of 2-3 bots against a 4 stack... just... make PVE/PVP branch versions for the same items.
-
Yeah but those problems don't outweigh the quest itself, Thats the playerbase itself that makes the quest semi challenging, not the quest on its own When you do go up against normal teams (which is a good chunk of the time) then the quest isnt bad, just kill a few peeps and move on
-
They kinda do. in PVP Jumping into repeated games where you are getting completely overrun with no way to truly retaliate because you're dead before you can get a shot off, does not help you get anywhere. I've repeatedly started up Crucible or Gambit or Gambit prime for my first 2 games to be full of bots/scripted movement afkers. It kills any motivation to keep playing. The basic fact over all of it, PVP is terrible by design, prefabricated builds before a match let 'tryhards' bank on better gear by default, and for quests, lets them have a much higher likelihood of getting better PVP gear that prevents people from really getting anywhere without massive cheese. And not punishing AFKers quickly just makes it even more of a mess.
-
Pre-fabricated builds??? What does that even mean lmao
-
Loadouts. Jumping into an FPS with predetermined weapons that may be far more effective than your opponents. That's not a good PVP environment, and thats why theres no professionally played FPS that does so. The most they normaly get away with is just skins.
-
Yea but see that logic itself is flawed, as I never encountered Afkers/bots during ANY of my quest plays All my matches have been very solid gunfight with everyone participating. The same could be said for other players, just like the afk situation could be said for other players as well. Again, its really not the quest steps that has issue, its just the player base
-
You not having the same issue does not negate the game being terrible by design. P2P "servers' ensure you are likely to be connected to similar areas often. In my case, that apparently means people running bots in my region. A way around some of these issues, is to have PVE quest alternatives. And for people who are dead set on PVP, having PVP quest alternatives.
-
Most of the time you don’t need to win matches and is completely dependent on your own ability.
-
4v1 does not net you kills in most cases. It does not encourage you to continue playing.
-
If you're encountering 4v1 scenarios that often then you're getting extremely unlucky. Yeah it happens, but not that often. Unless you mean your team is that bad. Then in most cases, and I mean no disrespect, there might be something on your end that you need to improve.

Not bad, just, afk and using a script to cycle through movements at spawn. No way to catch up, and getting pinned down by all enemies at once makes it a slow time to getting any kind of achievement.
